Place is a dump....to a businessman, he understands one thing. Cash cow.
They did release some plans for a new sand pool and other upgrades. Rooms will likely stay as is. Slots o fun will get renovated. RV Park is to go. Land has huge value to him.
It was probably all the customers from the the RV park that were generating all the profits for the casino.Quote: TDVegasRelatively speaking, Circus Circus was an absolute cash cow for MGM. Their profit margins were extremely high as it relates to their other properties. Cheap to run, brings in money. Ruffin loved the fact that there is big land and it was generating big profits related to cost.

If they turn it into a higher-end place where all the Mexicans go? Do other casinos allow 12 family members per room? They should probably leave well enough alone making one peso at a time.

Hmm, I think posting this thought crosses a line.
All the Circus Circus coin machines have been moved here
It's kind of neat walking in and hearing the sounds of coins falling and seeing people with small buckets
I hear coin slots do well since they are so rare and there are people that really love them and play nothing else
I saw a security guard following one homeless around in Circus Circus and the homeless kept turning around, asking the guard to stop hassling him, but turned out all the guard wanted to do was ask the homeless a couple questions, otherwise, didn't even chase him out.
“It won’t stop, It’s not ever going to stop.”
I guess Michael Bluejay will have to update his website.Quote: WizardI went to Slots-a-Fun on Friday. Table games are back, including 6-5 $5 blackjack.
