Which whackadoodle? I'm more concerned about the one who started a war of choice that has cost 10,000 lives and 100 billion dollars with no results besides wrecking the world economy.

I'd be going straight to the End Of Civilization thread about that.

Why do you see so many cockaroaches in Las Vegas? Cleanliness and keeping away their food supplies is not enough. It turns out they need a lot of water too, much more often than they need food. In temperate or tropical climates they can live off the condensation forming on cold water pipes, and being they live in the walls they can stay in the walls and never have to come out for water. So they may be present in a home but you don't see so many. But in the desert there is insufficient humidity for condensation on the water pipes usually, and they come scurrying out into the living areas looking for water.

So I made sure to keep everything dry, eliminate water sources as well, except for a dish I put out with water and some sugar and borax mixed in. Borax will kill them if they ingest it. They visit my bait and just like that, no more cockaroaches! Controlling their water supply is the most effective way to exterminate them in a dry climate.

I lived in Henderson for three years. I never saw a cockroach in my apartment, although the complex insisted on a monthly visit from an exterminator. While unpacking in Bisbee, I found a huge dead roach, but since it is an affluent area, I'll call it a Palmetto bug as I raise my pinkie.
As I share my lot with about a half dozen lizards, and an occasional snake, we have little infestation

AM's comments are essentially far right hate speech, cynical animalistic reduction explicitly banned in most countries for good reason.

If I or any one else were to describe Jews or Americans or whatever as cockroaches I'm fairly certain one of you would delete them instantly. You don't when it is about Muslims. It seems YOU are explicitly encouraging a political agenda by selective moderation. I don't even have a dog in this fight, I'm not a Muslim or even religious but the double-standard is very glaring.

I'm not going to watch it. (Not faulting you for posting it at all.)

To me it's like the worst pornography, and all seeing it will do it put some pollution in my mind. I don't go anywhere without a gun now and if I ever have to do the God-forbid, odds are it will be a situation like you have described here and the less of this stuff I have seen already and could be affecting my judgment or my reactions the better.

As far as your question, what to do about it, yeah- shoot them if you have something to shoot. These people get too many free rolls. There have always been crazy people walking around but the crazy aren't using abnormal reasoning 100% of the time. Sometimes there is normal reasoning mixed in with it, and they attack for the same reason others do- it gives them some satisfaction and they believe they will get away with it. We can't do much about the satisfaction they get, but with our defensive skills we can make it harder to get away with, and at the same time reduce the rate of recidivism.

Clearly this is controversial, and is not Vegas, math, or gambling.
