Seems to me the spamming is being done by the individual violating rules 1, 12, and 14.

I'd say personal insult, but it's all relative I suppose. In a different culture that might be a compliment. In China, maybe. I don't know much about China, so the following is mere musing, a mind game. It could be that some Chinese consider crack a sacrament, and fellatio something you do as a favor for a friend.
But I think that is probably a stretch. It was probably meant as an insult.

Varmenti is nuts. I was somewhat siding with him until his partner betting nonsense and the one to top it all off was that iPad 5 which now is the iPad Air was coming out on October 15th. Plus he was going to buy it on that day! I wonder if he bought one because I would be extremely impressed if he could.

Here's my question. Since the first quote has been deemed worthy of a suspension, then what is the consensus on the quote directly above? (If the mods and/or the more objective members of this forum say that these 2 insinuations are in no way alike, then I'll be satisfied) Keep in mind though that I am not talking about gay accusations in general. I specifically want to compare the first (suspension-worthy) quote to the current quote.
Also, I do want to be clear about one thing. If you said to 100 straight guys, "This guy is much like you," and showed them a picture of, say, Liberace or another gay guy, then I think the overwhelming majority of them would take that statement to imply that they are gay, and you'd have a fight on your hands.
The "argument post" that received a suspension was intended mockery at one's sexuality. rx's post was focused on political views. The fact that the man was gay was necessary to as it pertained to the particular argument y'all were engaged in - B9 says dems have the gay vote locked, rx shows they don't have all of the gay vote locked.

Totally agree. The 'like you' part to me was about his political views, not his sexual preference.
