Was KingFX any relation to Thail? King's links are still active, but Thail just wrote (or an admin amended his posts to read) spam. It all seems very strange to me.

I nailed Thail, but I usually don't announce it in this thread when I nuke Spammers, I'd end up making two such announcements per day, on average.
Most of the time, nobody knows about the other Spammers because they start a new thread or blog. The problem when someone posts spam onto an existing thread is the fact that I have no ability to delete an individual post, the only work-around is to separate the post into a new thread, title that thread, and then delete the new thread.
I'm not sure why, but yes, I can nuke an entire thread, but not an individual post!

I used to do that when I helped out an internet gaming site. I'd delete their posts and sometimes even their accounts as fast as they could make them if I happened to be on at the time they were trying their dastardly deeds. Pretty funny.

I don't know how ME knew that, but I happened to know it as well. I can't find it, but IIRC there was a mis-click and apology at some point in the past. There's no way to undo an admin flag so if you flag a legit post it's just gone forever.

I just checked the IPs and they are different. Thail is evidently from Pompano Beach, PL, and KingFX from Dandenong, Australia.

It's not "free advertising," per se, as in context it seems that he made the offer only to prove a point.
As for "Keep it Legal:" his offer seems to be no more illegal than the bets escrowed / made between members on this site.
Which would seem to leave "Betting systems;" it seems to me that that would be a stretch.

Cool, I totally support you on this one. I tried to engage him on his bac thread and the nugget thread. All his responses were ridiculous and often times insulting our intelligence. Good call Wiz, that's why I like this place. Hopefully his comment about being at the D for the nugget challenge was BS.

I think it falls under Rule 10: betting systems. "Betting systems may not be offered for sale anywhere on the site." Presumably, the statement "Bring $5000 and meet me at Fallsview" is an offer (paraphrased out of laziness).

The inconsistency is pretty special, too. I've been playing for 20 years. No, wait. 2 months. No, wait, 7 years. I play every day. No, wait, I play once every 2 weeks. I play professionally. No, I play for entertainment. I've just now started winning. No, wait. I've won $2MM. No, wait. It's $2MM if you don't offset losses...

I would have went If he was willing to Bet some money on his system. However I don't know how often a progressive betting system should work VS how often it will fail. I only know it fails in the long run... I use progressive betting systems occasionally online when using bonuses or dealing with wagering requirements. Is there some kind of chart One can look at that have the various percentages of success using progressive betting systems like martingale ? I haven't looked at the entire thread, nor have I read all of his posts, but I suspect that He Who Is Now Suspended had not been trying to talk up and peddle a gambling system to others.
Ultimately it's your board, your rules, but to me it was a far from "easy call."
True, just reading the guy's posts makes me grate my teeth and want to punch something, but if that were cause for suspension the board's most prolific poster would have been consigned to Davy Jones' locker long ago.

A "one time lapse in judgment" is not a good excuse around here. There were a lot of other borderline posts he got away with, so he had no good will stored up with me.

If by "one mistake" you mean if you get your 5th total suspension in the last 15 months you're not going to be allowed back ever, that would seem pretty fair. There's a difference between one mistake and five suspensions.

Hello, for once I have to disagree with WIZARD.
you made an error in judgement, they butched varmenti in his own thread. the members pushed his buttons and after reading his posts, I see the 5000 was deposit and 5 days of gambling totaling 5000 plus profit is return to the NOVICEGAMBLER.
After reading even more it was NOVICEGAMBLER who was soliciting varmenti by offering him 15000.
Sorry WIZARD but you are wrong.
You should answer to the butcher guys on here.
varmenti sits my table with his sweet wife when they play and they are very sweet couples. they don't deserve treatment here like this.

Coming from the person who stalked my every post leading up to my last two suspensions relating to your implying I was a homosexual interested in meeting you for a date, I'm not surprised by this comment from you. You write a bunch of stupid nonsensical trash about things you don't understand, and write it off as okay because you work for a casino and deal with people that are losers all day long and are familiar with how things work when people are losing. 2/5ths of those suspensions came after you asked me, "so are you asking me on a date?" That's where I drew the line with you Zcore. You still want to focus in on me? The last two suspensions were basically fallout from your question, "so are you asking me out on a date."
