This thread has been mostly off-track for several days now. It's nearly impossible to split off the extraneous conversation in a thread of this length without crashing my computer, so I haven't done it. Seriously, it can take 20 minutes just to load it in splittable format.
I would request people not keep tacking junk posts on, please. Maybe the misc discussion thread or a new thread would be better, but not here. Thanks!

I'm not arguing the purpose of the thread, so don't get defensive about it. It was just encouraging random banter and side conversations, which are fine in most cases as they can be split off from a thread, but this one is an exception. So I asked for the courtesy of the forum keeping to its intended purpose. It's a maintenance issue, not a censoring.

With all due respect, I see no way that last night's exchange was not in keeping with that Rule. Would you suggest that the Rule should be changed? Anybody is welcome to suggest a Rule change, and I would say any reasonable suggestion would at least receive consideration.

So as to be pertinent, yes, your example would be pretty much within the letter of the rule Mission quoted, perhaps not in the spirit of it, but if this thread's about anything, it's about splitting hairs on things like this.

Ibeatyouraces - I agree it is a personal insult but I was merely pointing out that so long as it is vague or hypothetical, nobody will do anything about it

I don't think he was calling you anything. I went back and read through it for the 3rd time in 3 days, to see if I could make it into an insult on your behalf, and I just don't see it. I think it was a joking reference to what he said about sock-puppet that you answered with "I wear socks". Garters hold up socks; I know a lot of men who use them under their trousers. Mostly older men, but whatever.
So that's where I am with it, but didn't want to continue without an response, seeing as you're still unhappy about it. As you said, "that's all that was to it". However, if DMSCR takes more shots at you, where he establishes a pattern of animosity, I would then reconsider, and include that as a remark demonstrating there's a problem.

No need to prove. There aren't anyone crazy enough to hack into anyone's account to delete any messages. Also it was during coincidence that it happened right after the Wiz announced he sold his site. Then a couple of these so called penny slots APs started taking offense and threw a tantrum in unison. You being one of them. Not in a vocal sense but in an action sense where all the messages prior were deleted!. At least AxiomofChoice performed the propler Hari Kari.

All anybody had to do was grab a device with his sign-in retained (a member option) and they could trash every post. Or know his name here an be able to intercept an email with a password. Or some other way.

GWAE..... I have been busy "losing" at bac like what IBYA have stressed. Maybe he has been following me around here in Vegas? Who knows. Since moving here I try to stay away anything gambling related once I am off the tables. That means anything online as well. Just drop by because taking December off and entertaining friends and family visiting. Plus with all this free time I am taking programming classes. First is Python then Ruby on Rails.
But I am gonna disappear soon!

I really hope the Wiz and the new owners compensate you mods in one way or the other. Such a tireless job. Like buy you all a burger (minus the chicken mcnuggets) at I LUV Burgers at the Palazzo.
Highly recommend the salmon salad if he pays. They really know how to grill the salmon without drying the damn thing like a few I have run into.
On a more serious note. For anyone who visits the Strip. Stay vigilant given what is happening through out the world. Given how open and accessible a typical Vegas casino is it can be quite a volatile ruckus if push comes to shove. Hmmm that goes for any casino you visit other than the Strip. Stay save.

Why are bac guys nuts??? Well the 95% to 98% of them. Because they have no idea and they don't play to win. They play for excitement. Run into a bac player or not who doesn't play for excitement but to play correctly, major AHA moment. But they are very very very very very hard to come by. Out of all the years I have been in a casino from AC to Vegas and Macau there were ONLY three I have run into. I would say four but he let some 6 years of hard grinding lose it all in 4 months because he lost his way.
