1BB nuked himself. He wrote what I guess he felt he needed to write knowing (at least I hope he knew based on experience...) that it would end the presence of him as 1BB here. I guess he can come back as a member with a new name as long as he doesn't assume all of the same characteristics of his former self--he'd be pretty easy for the detectives here to find if he did. Nuking him was the only option available once he went on his final tirade. Perhaps unpleasant, but necessary.

Thank you, and that is precisely correct. I want to make it absolutely clear that I did not want to Nuke 1BB, and nor did I want him to make the posts that resulted in the necessity of his Nuking. He wasn't Nuked simply for arguing his Suspension or Forum policy, this is the proper thread in which to do those things. He was Nuked for showing gross disrespect for Wizard in publicly questioning whether Wizard is fit to be in charge of the Forums and whether Wizard, and to a lesser extent other Admins, act with the best interests of the Forum in mind.
Aside from those things, he could have said nearly everything that he did say with impunity. Unless he has a significant share of LCB (financially) that I didn't know about, and I'm sure someone would have corrected me if he had, then he has no right to publicly question the Wizard's competence to be in charge of things around here.

I am (sort of) going to disagree with you here. I think Mike would not mind many critiques.... 'you let too much non gambling stuff in'..... 'you treat women differently than men'..... 'you suspend too quickly' 'you don't suspend quickly enough', etc... all of which imply a lack of faith in Mike's competence..... but the way 1BB came after Mike and you greenies obviously crossed a line you cannot cross.... thus the proper result.... the banning by Mission of 1BB,,,,,

1BB did this to himself, it wasn't the mods fault, Mike's fault, his detractor's fault, ownership's fault, just his, plain and simple. He's a smart guy and came back from his suspension, guns a blazing, knowing the hammer would fall.

Let's look at what he said a bit more. He challenged BBB on almost every move she made as a moderator. Okay, not quite...but pretty often. That would have gotten tiring if i were a moderator after about the first time. He essentially wanted her to moderate the forum as he would do it instead of how she was asked to do it and has done it. I don't agree with every moderator's decision (if you remember, I got a seven day "first suspension" and then another one just as long when 1BB, and others, pointed out that I did not insult anyone) but they are the moderators and some reasonable criticism is fine, but too much is, well, too much.
He then was suspended and came back with a fairly vicious attack on the Wizard. There was a venom there that was unfair and undeserved and it was an attack more than just some more criticism.
He nuked himself and he did not leave an opening for another chance. There is no right to come on a forum a criticize management at every opportunity and stay forever.
I enjoyed 1BB. I enjoyed Mickey. I liked Buzz. They all went away because the did things that they could have avoided. I wish them all well.

Maybe you missed the multiple times Wiz personally told him if he didn't like it here and thought it was so unfair that he should not let the door hit him in the ass on the way out. That's a pretty obvious warning to me.
Just like the real world, the forum is brought down by crying liberals.

1BB was given more latitude, and more time, than Buzz was. He's been attacking me for over a year, and the forum moderators more broadly since shortly after the sale (there are literally - yes, literally - hundreds of these posts from him, all available for review). I chose at first to ignore it, then to respond to specific attacks with facts, then ignore it again for the most part as it was doing no good to respond.
My thinking was to take what could be used as constructive criticism and ignore the mean and toxic parts as much as possible, try to be the better person, since if I had taken it personally I would have been Martingale-ing him all along. Instead, he got warned a couple of times, and he backed off without apologizing several times when he was proven wrong or called on it. Maybe that was a mistake, to let it go on so long. I still don't know.
I figured that, since I was usually the target, it was hard to be objective, and I was depending on the other mods to take action if it was warranted. They didn't until this past couple of weeks, perhaps because I refused to complain to them, perhaps because I was feeling more crapped-on than it read to another moderator (though I heard from more than a few members about him along the way).
All of that is to say, that if anyone received "favorite" treatment around here, it was 1BB. I appreciated his blackjack discussions. I did not appreciate his constant harangue about nearly every moderator action and whining about perceived discrepancies in moderation. So. Now I'm really done discussing this. I wasn't going to say any of it, but you've tried to make your point several times, and I didn't want to leave it unanswered.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Funny you folks allowed 1BB/Kerkebet/garnabby to stick around for so long. Hell I didn't even catch it. Well not paying much attention. Something you guys did and/or finally got under his skin somewhere in some way that made him reveal himself and got the Mish146 to catch on and throw him over the cliff.
He will definitely pop up again under another nick with a different IP address.
Funny you folks allowed 1BB/Kerkebet/garnabby to stick around for so long. Hell I didn't even catch it. Well not paying much attention. Something you guys did and/or finally got under his skin somewhere in some way that made him reveal himself and got the Mish146 to catch on and throw him over the cliff.

He posts irregularly, but Zuga often views the goings on here and weighs in when deemed appropriate, all of which is to be expected.
He / the new owners didn't pay big bucks just to buy this board: it was WOO that they wanted, and WOV just came along for the ride.
In terms of profitability / monetizing, I believe that this forum is little more than a pimple on the nose of the ugly chaperone that accompanies a beautfiful woman on her first date in the Old Country. ;-}

It seems that there may be thirty-some Kentry's in the US, according to some website, with three of them being in Florida. It does not indicate a gender.
Of course, Kentry might not be Kentry's first name. Could mean anything, could mean 'Ken, try.' Who knows?
