In the first quote I do not say that anyone is doing anything. I say I hear. This isn't the CIA so I'm fairly certain that no one is listening to my conversations. Saying someone is bitter, without naming names, is the same as saying someone is tall. Would anyone consider the description of being tall as an insult? Can't you see the humor in sitting in front of the computer? I have said that about myself more than once. Was it because I didn't add the smiley?
Don't fall into the trap that others have set. You're better than that. You know darn well that I have not defended everyone who has ever been suspended.
Why is everyone suddenly avoiding the word trolling? Let me reiterate that I never instigated any of this. Never. I post and the usual crowd is right there to jump all over me.
I thank you for your post, Ron. I am taking it to heart and will indeed raise my standards back to what you expect of me. Will you stand up and address those who are actually stirring the pot? You don't seem like someone who can be intimidated.
Face it, you were told point blank to leave if you didn't like it. Maybe the Wizard was also talking about any of us, but it always seems to come after some of your posts. But you will never leave on your own, so we will see if it is the other way.
Now feel free to point out how I am the troublemaker here.
Oh and if you get suspended or banned I will be sure to "discuss" it because after all this is the topic at hand.

I have no thoughts on whether you should thank those who went to bat for you. It would be a nice gesture but it is entirely up to you. I did not go to bat for you for a couple of reasons, one being that I got the uneasy feeling that I may have been baited.
I am not making a big deal out of anything. I'm merely posting my thoughts and opinions in this thread while staying on the subject of the thread. Can you honestly say the same?
You are not posting "like normal". You, sir, are attempting to stir the pot. In my opinion. It is not normal to respond to my posts in the manner that you have been. In my opinion. Perhaps you are trying to find your niche here. Perhaps the circle the wagons crowd would be a good fit for you. Maybe they will support you like they did while you served your suspension or maybe they will lead you down a dark road.
I'm thrilled that you think that Mike respects you as a person. That's definitely something that you can use on your resume for your next dealing job. The extra long suspension must have been a tough love type of thing. Stockholm Syndrome anyone?
Finally, I find referring to me as a lawyer extremely insulting. :-) Sorry ace, MrV, et al. It was a joke. See the childish smiley face that makes it okay? Actually those guys are the ones who should be insulted. That's called self deprecation. Not taking yourself too seriously can be a good thing. Try it.

The quote from RS was "I still respect Mike and I think he respects me as a person". I then said "I'm thrilled that Mike respects you as a person". I was just commenting on his good fortune. Positive reinforcement if you will.
I'm very sorry, Axel, but I don't see that as strange. Thank you for saying that the site wouldn't be the same without me. It's a great site with wonderful people and I love each and every one.

Suspected for calling it like I saw it. Like I do in the real world as well. Guess I have a thick head but it finally got through to me to play by the rules you seem to disagree with. Note I never complained because I deserved it. It's simple, I'm a guest here so if I want to stay, I follow the rules. And if I want to go I'll stop being so nice to you and say what I really think. Is that what you wanted to know?

Another minor correction if I may. It's not, nor was it ever, the rules that I disagree with. I do have that request that no one be suspended for insulting me so if you'd like to take a chance and say what you really think it's quite all right with me. Thank you so much for listening. I didn't mention "insulting" anyone at all...just a bit of nastiness that is different for you. In my opinion, of course.
Do you feel as if you need to get closer to the line in the manner of other posters? I guess I didn't hear as much of that before.

Calling someone a "troll" is an insult from what I recall. It is up to management to decide if someone is "trolling"...mere members risk suspension for calling someone a "troll" when we feel they are "trolling"...so many just don't use the word. Hell, I am not even sure I know what a troll is or isn't at this point. yes, I have read the definition of the word...

IIRC originally how this all started is that you were very vocal about being against the suspension list/ wall of shame. As if you are totally against shaming people(I have seen you covertly try to sham people) . I think it's more because some of the more notorious people that you liked got suspended. I think you like the drama and friction caused by people like Larry s, Singer and all the other controversial people, just because it's entertaining.
Anyways,
someone probably made a joke directed at you and you went on the defense(probably one of you're long detailed explanations). Then someone noticed you were way to defensive regarding a joke or something small. More jokes or whatever followed. You become increasingly defensive and stated pointing out inconsistencies and members behaviors to prove you're points. I'm sure someone looked at all this as a weaknesses and tried to use it to egg you on.
It's now a running joke on the forum and you've help cement everything because you keep responding in such a defensive manner. And you wonder why the wagons, actually more like sharks are circling? They smell blood from a wounded piranha.
IMO you like playing defense because you like to play lawyer, meanwhile getting some jabs in while fanning the flames.

Sound like a set up that backfired to me.
Perhaps 1BB knew a moderator would probably think he was referring to you know who. So if he got suspended he could use that to shame whomever suspended him for making a hasty and possible bad decision. He probably tried to time it just right and was looking to see what particular ban-hammer administrator was on at the time. He was probably thinking Mike was busy.
It may have been another admin who banned him but turned it over to The Wizard for further review.

There are members of the Forum(s) that believe 'reaper' is not your first identity here.
There are members of the Forum(s) that believe other current identities are not their first here.
There are members of the Forum(s) that believe that is OK if you can play within the lines, the others can play within the lines. Between the lines is the defining definition, I assume.
There are members of the Forum(s) that believe the Admins /Mods are aware of previous members here with new and/or multiple identities. Good contributors ( and that has to be defined as good for business, in a business) have a value.
If any and/or all that is correct, and the members questioned want to be able to continue posting on the Forum(s) as opposed to just being able to read posts and not contribute, it would behoove those members to stay (at least) within the lines of play.
And Reaper, though it may sound like it, this little post of mine was not directed primarily at you, or the Admins.
Other than that, if you felt it was directed at you out there whomever you are, you are probably correct.
