I think, since Nathan actively claimed (not just implied by name) to be a man for several months before suddenly being a woman, there is no insult possible by believing or disbelieving either version. The question is, which is or was the lie. I believe the early Nathan.

You misinterpreted my taking your quote totally out of context! I chopped off the 'to win 180' to make it look like you were buying a ho for $20. It wasn't about Nathan at all..... No need to self suspend!
You could suspend me for a personal insult on you if you want, as the implication was that you would want a $20 ho. But it was meant tongue in cheek.....

There is clearly no bet as of now. There are many times a 'bet' is proposed more as a way of starting a discussion, and when it comes down to finalizing it there is no final agreement on amount, who is the final arbiter, escrow, etc.... This bet as an example is hard to conclusively determine the result. It is not too hard for example, if Nathan is a male, for him to ask a female friend to meet a WoV member for 5 minutes at a casino. No one knows what Nathan is supposed to look like, sound like, etc....
What if Nathan looks 'ambiguous'? I doubt that the member will then ask for a genital examination to 'prove' that the bet has been determined. If Nathan takes a picture of a Driver's license with her standing holding it, and it is clearly a female, how do you know it is Nathan, etc.....

I don't get the big asking. Some of the same people questioning have said it is suspension-worthy to question a poster's gender.

She never said she wanted to bet. She set the line, that doesn't mean she wants action. Quite often a line is set injest just to show that how one feels about a situation.

No one has asked you to. You have been asked to verify your identity/gender to one of the Green Moderators. Wizard, BBB, Face, or now OD. If you don't trust them then this conversation should be over.

For me to bet would imply that I care about the outcome. Personally, I don't. It's certainly not worth laying 180 to win 20.
As a moderator, Nathan has been difficult, to say the least. I've stayed out of most of it until lately because Mission was handling it. But Mission is no longer available, and Nathan has proliferated low-value threads and posts to the point where I'm not doing my job if I continue to be passive. So here we are.
I'm trying to help her improve the quality of her posts, assuming positive intent, rather than just banning her as an elaborate troll, based on scant evidence either way. (Calling Nathan "her" is part of that courtesy, as we have established that precedent, addressing people as they wish to be known.)
I will note that I have received more complaints, and read more of them in the threads, on Nathan than anyone in the past 3 years. So my involvement is at least in part in response to those, and not me out to get her or something like that.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought you meant I was taking a cheap shot at a Nathan. No, I'm not insulted at all. But I'd like to think my standards would budget more than $20.
