This is the thread to post interesting things that happened at work recently.

So recently, I was selling Red Nose Day Charity noses at Walgreen's. I asked a woman at my counter if she wanted to buy a nose. She told me,"No thanks, I already have one of them. " A customer who had nothing to with our conversation butted in and said,"Why don't you wear it then?" She went on in him and really told him off saying,"Excuse me. Maybe you need to mind your own business and not jump into conversations that have nothing to do with you!" He responded, "Fork you!" She responded,"Fork you too!" I thought,"Well that escalated quickly. Went from zero to 100 in just seconds! This is how people start off trying to make pleasant small talk and end up cussing each other out!" It was so weird...

My workplace is usually pretty uneventful.

But somebody brought a bunch of food in today so that's always good.

Just realized that my return flight to Las Vegas scheduled for May 10th was booked to return me June 10th. Oops. Can't blame anybody else because I booked it myself.

Then you are truly a very rich man! I always tell the story of my two sons, one the entomology PhD student who has been studenting for I think now 7 years after college making around minimum wage. And my second son making some multiple of the older one at his computer programming gig. The older one loves what he does everyday while the younger one is a 'working stiff'. Who is 'richer'? I always answer my 'poor' older son.

I am Blessed.
Much of what I have I owe to then Father William Ayers., the rock and roll priest. He had a radio show on the most popular fm radio station in NYC and his guest often talked about the spirituality of their music and everyday life. I'd considered becoming an Irish Christian Brother but decided business was a better way to help people.
