Discussion II about the Suspension List
Among more than a few Las Vegas area self-described "professional gamblers" going through dumpsters is apparently considered Tuesday, from what I've seen. And Wednesday, and approximately five other days, give or take, depending on pick-up schedules, which some dedicated gamblin' pros seem to know pretty well. Some of them seem to have regular dumpster fishing routes staked out, when not otherwise engaged in some of their expert gambling endeavors that are sure to really payoff real soon.Quote: GWAEI always wondered about that. I've got no idea about technical legality, but in practice from what I've seen and heard and once upon a time been ultimately accountable for, the kind of response seems to depend a lot on some degree of neatness and efficiency. And not making a big noisy spectacle and creating an unsightly pile of stinking crap that folks responsible for the joint have to re-dumpster, and then re-shower themselves. As it did for us, when I was responsible for a portfolio of residential/commercial properties and the people working at them in some other cities in other states. Many of them in Oregon, which was the original pioneer of mandatory can & bottle "deposits" and most other enviro-smug ideas that were getting cooked up at that time. And of course had all kinds of unforeseen, and sometimes forbidden to even notice, effects.
Working on creative new ways to finance your next vacation? Perhaps a kind of modified nature trip & anthropology expedition of 'living off the land' like the natives? Don't forget to check out plasma (blood purchasing) centers as part of your exploration-research-vacation; they're unofficial community centers for the degenerate gambling genius community when going through one of those little temporary five decade cold streaks that seem to happen.

If the cans came from outside of Michigan, or if the cans already had their deposits returned, then it is against the law.
People try from time to time, sometimes they get caught. Here is one from March of this year.

I have never heard of that promo. I would have also done the same.

Guess Wendy's was assuming they would sell more hamburgers to cover the cost. Wonder if it was a net loss for them?

I don't remember that one but I have done many mileage runs. Take a bunch of short cheap flights because they usually offered a minimum number of miles no matter the length of the flight. You would earn miles worth a lot more than you were paying for the flights.

I answered earlier. Different bar codes. And going to stores that manually check them, are supposed to look at them carefully.

My comment was not a personal insult. It was my way of asking if the fellow commenter knew how to google.
I made a comment, and it was replied to less than a half hour later that I needed to supply source materials.
The commenter no more called me a liar than I called him whatever name BBB's brain thinks I called him.
I replied to his comment by asking him if he searched at all (albeit in my own way).
Regardless of the facts above:
BBB has had it out for me ever since my first post about politics. Just because I am a black man does not mean I have to agree with any/all liberal policies. I do not need her to feel sorry me because she feels I am somehow brainwashed by HER PRESIDENT or any other man or woman for that matter. I have the right to choose my own way. I do not need to be picked on and lied about on this site because I don't feel the way she thinks I should feel.
If the above is not true, why was I banned for a "second offense?" A two second search ( I did it just to make sure I didn't miss something) of the banned list would have noticed my name missing. This was tactful in its deceit. She was telling me how to think. That she was the one making the rules, and I need to get lock-step behind her way of thinking.
It is downright disgusting. I know this is the internet, and anyone is a toughgal, but if in real life such absolute filth is beyond acceptable, then it should be the same on the internet.

You are far from the first to be suspended for inferring a member is stupid/an idiot/some other similar insult. Check some of the other links in the SL for very similar bannings.
As to the rest, that's your opinion. I didn't / don't know you're black or white, male or female, anything else. I just call them as I see them.
It's rare here that someone agrees with why they got a suspension, though if they're being honest with themselves, it's usually obvious.So I heard what you said above. But I stand by my decision.

Maverick17 isn't "playing the race card", if anything, it's the exact opposite of that. Playing the race card is when you basically say "pitty me because I'm _____" or "You're racist (against me or my views) because I'm _____". In this case, it's the opposite, where Maverick17 is saying he doesn't need BBB to feel sorry for him because he's black.
I don't know about BBB (she's republican, apparently?), but there is truth to what Maverick is saying about how the democrats and liberals push minorities and women into what they should think. When Obama was running for office for 2008 / 20012, you'd sometimes see a black guy or some other minority saying he's voting for <not Obama> because X, Y, and Z....then the other person would be like, "Well, why don't you vote for Obama, you're black!" And during this last election, it was the same way for women and Clinton, where a women would be supporting Trump and the interviewer or whoever would say, "But you're a woman! Clinton's a woman! <complete confusion>" But of course, you're racist if you supported McCain, Romney, or Trump because they're white...or a misogynist because you support Trump because he's a man. So who knows??

You cannot "re-add" a suspension to a list if it was never there in the first place.
I am no forum expert, but virtually all, if not every time, a ban happened there is a post in the thread from the green name who issued the ban.
There was no post. Any guess why? Because there was no prior ban!
This is more of BBB continuing to harass me online, only now she is creating facts to suit her purported dominance rather than just with words.

The time stamps on your post and mine can't be added by me. Maybe a superadmin (site designer) has that power, but I don't. The website stamps them, and they can't be removed or changed in either "edit" or "quote".
There IS a "green" post - mine - quoting yours. It's the 2nd link in my post above.
The insertion of posts within a thread can't be done either. They fall to the end of a thread, no matter how far back you're quoting. My suspension of you was later than usual (at several days) but both your and my posts are in thread line from when they happened, many, many pages back.
If I had edited either what you said or what I said at that time, the edit would be noted in italics, but there is no editing note. And I can't remove that note if there had been one. No stealth changing of anybody's post is possible.
Your offense was violating the "keep it PG rule", not cursing. There's more to it than cursing, and you crossed that line.
The Suspension List is hand-edited each time it's updated. It involves some very picky heading and data entries, so we have to be especially careful when updating it. I don't know why the entry went away, but I referred to it when I noted the second offense. I have replaced the entry for your first offense in its proper chronology.
As to the rest, since you dispute very clear facts, there's really not much point in trying to discuss your opinions.
Or meltdown, speak what's REALLY on your mind, and be nuked.

A generic answer...... Buzz comes back repeatedly as a new member, and the topics he posts on and his writing style makes it clear that it is him. But as you can imagine, the administrators have other things to do, and are not reading every post hunting for banned members returning. If their ears are turned up, there is an IP address match they can check, but apparently computer savvy folk can fool that technique.
