Signature in posts is basically a form of bumping your signature every post.
Which is already accounted for by moderation with a signature line.
If one asks why the signature line was put into the software, one obvious answer is to completely avoid posters clogging up the body of their posts with signatures.
IMO, it's like throwing your garbage in the street when there are garbage cans nearby.
Put your signature where it belongs. Stop feeling special!

This is a personal insult. EvenBob says I lack candor, as opposed to my post lacking candor. Also, I really didn't mean to hurt his feelings, so I was telling the truth.

Within the last six months MDawg was suspended by Wizard over something so egregious, some discussion that was private info that the Wizard issued a full month and made note of it in the suspension list thread.
That alone probably disqualifies him.
By the way, I also find MarcusClarke's taglines to be annoying and distracting. One cannot readily distinguish his content from his tagline. And his tagline seems like he is advertising his professional services with a spamming frequency. No knock on MarcusClarke himself who seems like a reasonable guy, just his tagline being in the area reserved for posts. Ditto with tuttigym signing every post in the area reserved for posts.

Perhaps he did. Or maybe he is at a point in his life where a part time job with no benefits, no pay and lots of aggravation just doesn't make a lot of sense.
This is a list of people who have visited today, who all seem to visit often and rarely if ever cause any conflict or BS. Off the top of my head, I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary that would disqualify any of them from being a MOD and they all seem capable of doing the job.

But now I have a side issue...... Mission as a moderator in a previous time, has been clear that he was receptive to insults without penalty. And here he is picking and choosing who to be insulted by. Hardly the epitome of fairness. So, does he lack candour? Is EvenBob Bullying him or trolling him?
I'm inclined to think Mission is bigger than this.

And here we already have someone like Marcus Clark, a supposed Certified Gaming Regulations Interpreter for Corporate Applications/Professional Casino Security Expert who should know better, but he seems to be revealing sensitive private information from his actual place of employment, and at a job that should be taken very seriously and held to a higher standard. How could one trust that he wouldn't do the same here when it's not even a paid position or that serious of the thing?

We have a thread here where we are discussing candidates: Members. We are not really discussing posts.
So, while discussing candidates, let's keep it civil and respectful. I reckon that commenting on perceived moderator qualities, or lack thereof is pretty much 'on topic'
Thus we need to be extra careful not to accidentally throw out insults. And I'll be careful to not show bias.
