Quote: FinsRuleDoes MyVegas still have the same 3 redemption rule? None of my rewards mention it anymore.
Yes it does but only MGM rewards count against the 3 so not all of them will list it. Btw, I get 5 rewards and not 3 because about 4 years ago I bought a $20 chip package.
Started yesterday morning with 3 million chips and ~55k LPs. Got as high as 60 million in chips today.
I was getting worried because I was running out of LPs and I’ve got tons of Vegas trips coming up.
Quote: bbcpjcI am no longer seeing the 3 in 30 days terms on MGM reward redemption. I also do not get any warning messages when I book more than three rewards that used to happen. I have a trip later this month and so far have 8 rewards booked. Will be interesting to see if I can redeem them all.
The rewards on the mobile apps still show the 3 for 30 limitation.
They took it off the Facebook rewards for some reason, but be assured, that limitation still exists.
Of course that was just my personal experience and maybe there are other monorail pass rewards out there besides the one that was available to me.
Here’s to hoping they bring back those free cruises this fall so I can offload some of these LPs!
I haven’t looked at it, and probably won’t, but does anyone else have any insight?
Quote: rsactuaryI’ve been getting some ads this past week for Pop! Slots, described as the app for MGM properties. Also offering Vegas freebies.

It’s just another MyVegas app you can earn LPs on.
You earn them much slower on that one than the others. I don’t like it very much. Drains my phone battery really fast too for some reason.
Quote: blount2000I got the monorail pass reward last month, and it was a "buy-one-get-one-free" thing (versus a totally free single pass).

I don't think they have ever had any monorail rewards that weren't 2-for-1.
I got really lucky this weekend or they upped their game in the amount of rewards they put on. In 1 day wife and I both got mgm dinner buffet, Beatles love, NFi $35 reward, and the madaam tousauds.
Pain in the ass to play a bunch but $400 in rewards is nice when I get to use them.
Quote: VCUSkyhawkI have never found the monorail to be a great reward, even discounted. Perhaps it is because when I do stay on the strip, I stay on the west side. Just doesnt seem like a smart way of travel from that side of the street.
If you ate staying at the linq or a place with a stop I love it. I will take it to the mgm or I might take it to sls to walk to the other stuff down there. Last time we took it to sls and grabbed an uber from there to go downtown. Saved about $6

free 2.5 b chips on facebook version of slots. I ended up hitting a 29b bonus. Played max bet for about an hour and now have 800k gold coins again.

Yup, if you didn't point this out I was going to. Gotta be wary of maximizing how many LPs you can from spinning since it caps you at (I believe) 80k a day, though you still get LPs from leveling up.

It's weird though because it doesn't seem like everyone is capped. I was getting capped but wife did not. She was able to get nearly 800k points. I opened accounts for in laws cause they are visiting with us next year. My fil got 300k last night on a brand new account.
Up about 90K gold points so far, and far from done ( I hope ).
edit: finished up approx. 137k and whiled away some time visiting my folks in the nursing home.
Thanks Again.

Quote: tringlomaneWas too slow on this last billion. :( Got the 2.5B though. It will really help!
Same here.
Already blew through that 2.5 billion.
I’ve still got 6.3 million LPs from my epic blackjack run so I’m good to go though.
The availability of Rewards on myVegas seemed better than in the past, BUT there are a lot of black-out dates at least for the week this summer we will be in town.
Quote: JohnnyQWell this enabled me to get a ticket to KA and BEATLES LOVE and a LUNCH BUFFET for our next trip ( Mrs Q had plenty of gold LP, I didn't - until now ). Woot woot.

I don't think there are many more than usual they just seem to be listing all days including their dark days.

Thank you for posting this the other day. The links worked for me and I now have more betting chips than I ever have before.
Is there a "sweet spot" on the total amount of chips you should bet on each spin to ultimately maximize the gold chips that are used to claim the rewards? Or do you just keep hitting "bet max" until the betting chips are gone? I want to spend my 2.5B chips wisely!
Again, many thanks!

Max bets are huge! Don't bet that!
If you have a long amount of time to gain LP, 25k bets for levels lower than ~700. 250k for levels higher than >700 (me...boo).

I have five months to build LP (which are currently way less than 700K), so I will go with the 25K bets.
Thanks for the advice!
This is what I started out doing with my 2.5B, but got bored and ended up just auto-spinning it away.

All links are dead on that page now, but they claim there will be more to come.
Quote: JoemanAnother option is to play blackjack for 3 x 10 Mil. This will get you leveled up about every 2 or 3 hands (1,000 LP "gold chips" per level), depending on splits and doubles (that and some levels require more XP than others). The game is decent: ~0.5% HE vs. the 10% edge their slots reportedly have. The catch is that you can't "auto-spin" BJ!

They let you bet BJ for 10M now??? I haven't touched BJ since the chip devalue. Good to know!
Yeah, when they devalued the chips and didn't adjust the BJ betting options, I figured it was their way of saying "no more quick level ups on BJ." But a few months back, I noticed they had added the 100k, 500k, and 1M chips. And you can stack 10 chips per betting circle.Quote: tringlomaneThey let you bet BJ for 10M now??? The strat I used which was proabably not optimal but it worked for me/wife/and father in law was to play the electro link or whatever it is called. I like this game because it uses a bonus that builds up. The higher you bet the quicker it builds but when you run out of chips and have to min bet then you can still collect the entire bonus. So I had 2.5 bil. I decided to do max bet which was like 185 mil or something. I did that until I got to 1 billion. I was hoping for a bonus in a go big type of thought. On my account I did not get a bonus but I did win a few huge ones like 7 billion. When I got to 1b I reduced my bet to 11 million and played it out with those. I eventually ran out of chips but had 1 billion built up in the bonus which I hit with a 1k bet.
I remember when XP was 1-1 on slots and 2-1 (i.e. 1 XP for every 2 bet) on blackjack, with a cap of something like 50K per hand. Now, it's 25-1 on slots and 50-1 on blackjack; I need to bet 3 million to get 60K XPs.
Quote: JohnnyQI booked a couple of myVegas comp nights at Mirage. That makes our walk back to the hotel much shorter after Beatles LOVE. A nice thing is that even though the promotional calendar only shows rooms through the end of June, there were rooms available in July.
I don't know how much you have been paying attention to updates but you can now get more than your normal limit. The limit is only for premium rewards. You can do unlimited amounts of the non premium ones. Most non premiums are bogo but there are some decent ones that I never wanted to waste chips on before like Starbucks
Quote: ThatDonGuyHas the XP gain for playing been reduced lately - and if it has, why do I have a feeling those sudden handouts of billions of red chips has something to do with it?

All things in the game other than LPs were adjusted by a factor of 25 a few years back.
I got a 77.7 million chip bonus. Better than nothing.
