Does anyone have any insights concerning the range of royalties that game variations command on a per-table basis? I realize most casinos have confidential agreements with game distributors/inventors, but even a general range would be helpful. I also realize that new games bring in a whole lot more than side bets, so I'm really more curious about side bets. But any insights across the board would be appreciated.

Anyone? Bueller? Pacman? Anyone?

The market is flooded with side bets and they no longer command a decent price. A side bet may get about $1 to $3 per day per table. If you are getting 20% royalties from the distributor, and they place 100 tables, you can expect about $600 to $1800 per month in royalties. 100 tables is unrealistic for most side bets. This equation quickly leads to cash flow problems if you want to be your own distributor and you have no other games to offer.

Thanks for the feedback, teliot. That's pretty much what I figured the range was, basically anticipating $100/table/month for a highly appealing side bet.
