Hey Everyone,

Although nearly impossible to make money from your game lets go into dream world and pretend that you have the hottest new game since blackjack or roulette.

How would you charge for it? and how much would you charge for it?

I read somewhere that casinos pay $2,000 per month per table and online casinos pay a revenue share. Is this true? What are the other options inventors have?

Thank you all for commenting on my last thread the feedback was very useful!

$2,000 per month might be what a really hot game such a Three Card Poker gets. I suspect even that gets less. And if its a new game, regardless of how good it is, the price is gonna start out much lower.

Lets say 3CP DOES get $2,000. That's only for new casinos or casinos that don't already have it. A casino that installed it when the price was say $400 is still paying $400. And it might still be $400 if they want to add a table.

A new game? Figure FREE for whatever casino does the field trial. And I mean, free for as long as they want it. Maybe free for a second table too! And maybe free for the next couple casinos that try it, at least for a couple months.

Then, MAYBE, you can start thinking about a price to put on it.

Dave, I don't believe this to be the case. SHFL does raise monthly lease prices to existing clients on games that they already have on the floor.

I doubt anyone is paying $400 for TCP for a new table or an existing table regardless of the length of time they had it.

Now they may be paying zero, because they bought a lifetime license....but that cost them tens of thousands of dollars when they purchased the license.

Most every lease is a month-to-month lease that can be changed by either party with a 30-day notice. As a result, the fundamental rule of capitalism reigns supreme when determining the price --- Supply & Demand.

Interesting.

I would have thought that there are contracts of some type involved. And that's partially why I posted what I had.

Then again, I stand by my comment that even TCP wasn't getting the big bucks until after it was a proven game.
