VP Jacks or Better strategy questions

Two Jacks or Better strategy questions:

Should an unsuited J,Q,K, A (not four to a Royal) be played as an outside straight ? I’ve been playing as not being an outside straight instead choosing two of the high cards trying for a Jacks or better.

Should you ever hold a 4 low card inside straight opportunity? I’ve been discarding all cards?

JQKA (not all the same suit) is not 4 to an outside straight. It's an inside straight, because the only card that will complete a straight is 10. It's worth more than two or three of the face cards.

4 to an inside straight numbers only is worth less than garbage in JoB or Bonus Poker because the second most common prize is two pair which pays 2-1.

According to the strategy I use, which is one of the Wizard's for the most part, hold unsuited AKQJ unless you have a pair, the Queen and Jack are the same suit, or you have 3/straight flush.

On the other hand, other than Ace-high, the only 4/inside straight to even consider holding is KQJ9, and even then, not with a pair, if any two of the K,Q,J are suited, or with 3/flush.

I use the Wizard’s Simple Strategy and have wondered about those two scenarios , if you and The Wizard use that strategy, so will I. Thanks for the comment.
