never have i ever thought that watching someone play slot machines would interest me and i cant get enough... im mainly interested in the business side of it though
hell im watching xposed as i type this
The crazy part is, we all know they only show the good ones. We never see them pipe $1,000 into a machine and never hit the bonus. LoL
True, in either case it might cost you more in failed attempts than the 100K, but still - trying to win 100K on a machine versus at the tables is a loser's proposition.
Quote: MDawgWith machine play that guy could play the rest of his life and never hit 100K again. With tables, given a high enough bankroll and table limit the chances of winning 100K are high enough such that could hit it every week.

as soon as he said he was going for 100k i knew he would spend the rest of his life chasing that same feeling

Right. I'd chase a $100,000 slot win all day with someone else's money! I have a face for radio though, and a voice for newspaper.
When you play $125 a hand you will hit payoffs of $50k and $100k.
There is no skill or strategy to envy... just a big bankroll.

There used to be AP opportunities in Las Vegas playing $50 a hand in video poker. I played them for many years. If there are any now, they are probably just individual mistakes in very few places.
There is certainly way more skill playing VP than Baccarat. You are just guessing in Baccarat. ZERO skill no matter what Baccarat guy's want you to believe.Quote: AlanMendelsonSlotmassacre is playing high denomination -EV machines with A LOT of money.

Assuming you could find some higher limit 9/6 Jack's play correctly, earned comps, free play and other perks, I would have to guess you would be playing with an advantage, especially if you add in any type of platform revanue. Even a - 1% game should be profitable.
At that level, there's no way that's a once in a lifetime hand. You'd hit 4000 coins fairly regularly. Of course, not enough to keep up with the house edge.
Any Idea how many hands he played or the appropriate value he gave up during his trip?Quote: rsactuaryThe game he was playing was 98.61%. So for a $125 bet, he was giving the house $1.74 per hand.

I watch his videos all the time. You can call me a regular viewer. I think he's one of the more honest youtubers. Until this trip where he says he finished with a profit of $77k he was talking about how he was down for the year.
In many videos he commented on how he was down for this year.
Personally I'm glad he won.
I think his videos are the most interesting.
Winning or losing is a moot point to me. I am assuming he is losing if he plays often. I just want to know what his expected loss is for each trip. Assuming he has a significant bankroll, that's all that really matters if you are looking at if from a buissnes model perspective.Quote: AlanMendelsonQuote: AxelWolfAny Idea how many hands he played or the appropriate value he gave up during his trip?Quote: rsactuaryThe game he was playing was 98.61%. He is pretty transparent about his wins and losses. He will post losses just as much as wins. While I'd prefer him to show some yearly statements, he seems to genuinely been on a up swing since he started about 4 years ago. This was his first red year until he hit the 50k and 20k the other week. Now he's up 170k, which is near his record and it's only October.
I've paid attention to his free play amounts but I've never seen a big amount discussed in his videos. Usually he shows on his videos free play in the low hundreds.
Is he getting more free play than what he shows on the videos?
I do see a lot of cross referencing to other youtubers. It doesnt surprise me that they have a "partnership" to share YouTube revenue. I think that's what Slotlady did with this guy in their new videos.
Quote: ChallengedMillyHe is pretty transparent about his wins and losses. He will post losses just as much as wins.
I didn’t look at his site..he’s playing traditional slots or video poker? If it’s traditional slots and his win to loss sessions are 1:1, then he is not transparent, imo.
I’m not a VP player, so I really don’t know if 1:1 loss/win session is doable long term.
Getting loss rebates on higher limit VP could be very lucrative in and of itself.Quote: ChallengedMilly3, he has at least two loss rebate relationships with casinos that help favor his style of play, and uses that info to get other casino properties to give him thousands in free play. t
Someone with an Advantage Players knowledge and mentality would be well suited for this type of business.

If this is the case, wouldn't he be hashtagging or mentioning these casinos in his stream to bring business to them? It's clear he's been as the Cosmo a few times, but unclear where he got his big hit.
i think its enough to live off of in a city like phila where rent isn't sky high.
as long as they are able to recycle their roll and show a proffit off yt then its all good to go
i read once youtube favors you can make anywhere from 500 a month to 10-20k a month
not a bad living imo just to film yourself playing slots and say sour all day
beats waiting tables or other dirty work

If that is true, then I could see where she might not be doing well. It's important to keep in mind that her play is almost certainly not net profitable in and of itself. Do you have a link to the video you referenced?
I don't think you can post links yet, so it'll be hidden, but then I'll link to it in a post after that as long as it is a Youtube link.

again not too bad saying sour all day and making above min wage in most cities in usa
ugh another video claims she makes 144k a year well it can't be both i guess she only knows how much she takes him each year with her adventures

It would have brought me options. The key word is plural, "Options," which is why I asked for the link to the video that you saw. Besides, it's customary that the person to cite a source provide the source, so I don't consider my request unduly imposing.
Either way, the linked video doesn't, and perhaps cannot, account for the biggest expense...how much money is she expected to lose or, does she, in fact, lose just on the gambling.

One simple perusal of all the high limit slot channels that have popped up on YouTube. I mean there are a LOT of them. There’s a bunch of people out there in casino world with a lot of #$&@ing disposable money to burn.
I'm trying to get 120 credits to last me 3 hours on Bubble Craps.
Big KATS running a group pull @$200 each to enter. More info on that in this video contact him at his email if you want in

the straight was at max in ddb.
i hit quads regular twice in the same round (4x multipler). still lost $ when i finally hit the straight.
(i gave up JJ for an inside straight draw 79tJJ but missed. no idea if this was the right play or not.)

In general, he was switching games a lot...but he had a spread of multipliers I think about five minutes into the video on Ten-Play Bonus Poker that would have put the Expected Return at over 140% without even considering the value of potential added multipliers. More than that, as he was checking through the games, he would comment as to what the multipliers on the different games were at, so he clearly recognizes that it matters.

It's a tough game. If someone is staying until they have all been wiped clean (absent a truly bizarre set of hands), then they have been playing at -EV at some point.
Quote: 3for3How many hands? If this is 3 hands, that is probably the right play; if it is 10 hands, it is almost certainly not the right play, as your likely hit is just 1 straight, whereas if you don't kill your straight multiplier, you can easily get 2+ on a 1 card draw, or, all 10.
link to original post
It wouldn't change the per hand value, in either case. The realization of the value would just be skewed more towards being realized by dealt hands in the long run with the ten play.
Quote: 3for3You are right; it won't change the value of the current hand. It will change the value for future hands, however. Taking down the straight multiplier will cost substantial EV on future hands. If this was 1 play, you'd likely play for the straight. If this was, say 100 play, playing for the straight would be a substantial error, as it really diminishes the value of future hands.
link to original post
Hmm...I think I am either misunderstanding you or we might be talking past one another, my apologies, in any case.
The way I would vulture these is that I want the value based on the current hand to be 100%+ before I even care about future multipliers. I'm just thinking in pure vulturing terms or terms of what multipliers you shouldn't leave behind if you are playing them.
