Quote: DRichYes, exactly the same just less taxable jackpots because of the lower bet.
Thank you
Is there a progressive or something on it or some reason you were thinking of playing it?
Quote: WizardofnothingIf you are playing the 100 machine - I am in the wrong business- minimum bankroll you could even think about playing that with is like 100k

I said same thing in her other thread. She says she likes to play high limit but only play 100 hands.

Wrong. The minimum bankroll required is $100. Or $300 if you want to play with a full pay table.
Quote: RogerKintMake sure you post a photo of the royal here when you hit it.
I surely will! A woman came up to me and said she was just dealt a Royal on a $1 machine and won $12,000. Literally dealt it and didn't have to hold anything, she said the machine went off.
Quote: WizardofnothingShe prolly was lying unless it was a 3 line machine 12k would be a huge overlay progressive
It could have been a one line $1 Super Times with a 3x multiplier. It also could have been a single line $3 denom game.
Quote: IbeatyouracesTriple play people. Quite a common machine.
Probably a 60 coin bet on a $0.25 single line machine.
Quote: WizardofnothingWeird - who plays 60 coin. In essence that's not a dollar machine that's like says I played a 1200 coin machine single line in quarters
Most poker games have a 100 coin max bet limitation.
Quote: WizardofnothingHot blonde- I'd you are playing that machine- aww they comping you the way they should be?
Yes, everything was taken care of: room, NYE party, Mr. Chow, lunches, hair appointment, Britney Spears show.
Quote: rsactuaryHere's a pic of said machine.. pulled off of the internet.
Damn! That's what I was trying to get when I was playing the $100 times 3 machine.
Quote: DRichSadly that paytable hasn't been available since that hit. I'm pretty sure that was the hit that got him expelled from Caesars.
Yeah and he was banned from the WSOP for awhile over this too. They let him back into that though at least.
A current example of that 3 coin setup is at the 32 Degree Bar at M Resort for Spin Poker. 8/6 Bonus Deluxe (98.49%) is the best choice for quarters there.
I think bally's high limit room had that setup on their $100 units last I looked.
I wish more places offered flexibility in how much you can bet per hand. Several casinos in Reno let you bet 1-25 coins per hand, with full pay at 5+ coins. It's very nice to be able to bet 10-coin $2 or 23-coin $1 instead of 5-coin $5, so quads is $1000 or $1150 instead of $1250 and I'm not waiting for hand pays all the time. Having to choose between 5-coin $2 and 5-coin $5 is just dumb. There are other times when I've wanted to play $10 deuces, but I don't want to wait for hand pays on every wild royal, so I play $5 instead... if they let me play 9-coin $5, the wild royal is $1125 and everyone's happy.
Quote: fivespotA bunch of places offer 3-coin $100 VP. In Nevada I've seen it almost as often, maybe more often, than 5-coin $100 VP.

That is why I like to play 50 & 100 play machines. On a $1 9/6 JOB you can play 26 hands and not get a W2G unless dealt 4k or better. The dealt full house pays $1170.

that player blogged both that weekend of wins, and the follow-up from CET. I found them worth the read, though it's from 2007:

As one of the original developers of the software now known as Microsoft Word, he’s got plenty of cash to spend however he would like. But, as you might guess, he’s no dummy. He knows when he has the best of it in the casino. He’s a talented poker player, and he also plays a lot of video poker, at limits that most of us can barely imagine.

Casinos HATE winners!! Even lucky ones.

Aren't all winners lucky?
Quote: WizardofnothingI was kicked out of a small casino for winning 20k in ultimate Texas Holden
That's crazy. It just doesn't make sense. You'd think they'd want you to stay and keep playing so they could win back their money.
NO YOU WON'TQuote: HotBlondeWait, so if I hit a royal flush with a $240,000 payout I'm going to get banned??
Seriously guy's? He was not just 86'ed because he just hit some RF's. He was tagged as an AP and that was the reason. It's happened before especially when they had $100 FPDW.
HB you have no chance at being tagged as an AP so don't worry about it. Hit all the 240k RF's you want. I'm certain if you did hit for $240k and they 86'ed you, it would be a blessing in disguise.

If it is on the machine rsancuary posted you most likely will be. If it's on any other machine you'll be comped extra

Steve Wynn didn't win at the casino because he had more luck than the players. Some win because the odds are in their favor
