The promotion is as such:
If I earn 69,830 slot points throughout the month of November I receive $2,500 in free slot play
If I earn a total of 107,790 slot points, then I receive $6000 total in free slot play
The slot points are accumulated as, $5 coin in for slot machines, $10 for video poker, and table games at their discretion.
With the card I have for the casino I earn an additional 50% on my points.
What I need help with is which promotion would be worth it, if either. What bank roll would be necessary, what would the ideal game be to play with said bank roll( I can provide vpfree2 info for said VP games) and any other things I may have overlooked.
I am going to ask the casino rewards hosts if my 50% additional accumulation is valid for this promotion.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.
If they honor the 50% you will cut that down to over half a million. Doesn't sound wise to me.
Also, whats with the weird point earning amounts?
Usually a promotion will require a round number. Earn 10,000 points and you will get....
I don't think I've ever seen a promotion that said earn 69,800 or 107,970? You sure you're reading that properly?
$550,000 coin in earns you $6,000 in Free Play on slots. Very doubtful that you can find a machine with 99.1% odds.
Video poker 1,077,900 to earn $6,000. That add 0.5566% to your cash. And your points in itself are probably worth 0.25% or 0.375% for 50% bonus.
So you are looking at a 0.93% bonus for playing. That's not insignificant. So you would need to find a VP game that pays > 99.07%. Good luck with that.
Quote: TranscendYes I am reading the promotion right. That I can assure you. Also there is a game at my local casino that is 99% return but requires $20 per bet. Big Split Poker. I believe there is also a $5 machine that is 9/6 JOB so $25 per bet 99.54% with optimal play, with my play I would say around a 99.4%
Well there's your answer.
You need 1.08 million in coin in.
You state you would have a theo loss of .6% at 9/6 JOB, of which you would need to play 43K hands of.
Your expected loss is ~ 6.4K for 6K of free play.
Even with optimal 99.54% play your expected loss is 5K for 6K of free play. So you would make $1000 for sitting in front of a machine for like 4 days straight.
Stay home.
Quote: bigfoot66Are there other benefits? What kind of mailer would you get for this kind of action? Sounds like a CET property to me, how much value do you place on making 7 stars if you haven't already?
It's not CET. No CET offers 99% "Big Split Poker".
Knowing the possible amount of mailers one could get from the machines would be good. I assume not much.
With $5 JoB though, this promo will definitely be a bankroll mess I'd think. I'll try to think about the numbers more in detail later.

If that's all they tell you, I think you would have to ask them.
I read it as you earn 1250, you get $75 total freeplay. And each award you get as you meet the threshold.
But they may be saying only highest tier earned is what you get. So $40.
Or they may be saying $5 + highest add'l tier, for $45.
Quote: onenickelmiracleThe way I read it, you have to earn 2500 slot points to get $75 fp. Note it says after the first 250, the verbiage begins including the word additional.
I thought about it that way too. I also considered 2500 points to get $40 in free play. Glad I'm not the only one who isn't clear.
It's funny that for me to me that in a world where peanut butter has fine print telling me that this product contains peanuts (so there is no confusion) a casino can write something so vague.
I live in a world where it oftentimes claims this product contains NOTHING as described in the name of the product.Quote: prozemaI thought about it that way too. I also considered 2500 points to get $40 in free play. Glad I'm not the only one who isn't clear.

I get really annoyed when I buy "juice" and then I notice it says...this product contains NO juice.

Or bottled water that says its "purified"
Not to confuse people with selling "tap" water (purified water is tap water)

In case anyone couldn't sleep, this means $75 in free play for 1000 points. $2 a point. Not a bad promotion...
