Easier to get quads in DDB than a Wild Royal in Deuces Wild?

i only play ddb when I vulture ultimate X.
I've only had a few dozen hands and have hit quads twice. (once w/no multiplier, once w/a 4x)

I've played a couple thousand hands in DW (airport/LDW/Full pay) and have never hit quad deuces or a real royal.
I've had less than a handful of wild royals.

quads in ddb was just good variance?

The average frequencies with optimal strategy are:

9/6 DDB: any 4 of a kind = 1 in 417.90

15/8 LDW: wild royal = 1 in 584.97
15/8 LDW: wild royal or better = 1 in 513.83

FPDW: wild royal = 1 in 556.84
FPDW: wild royal or better = 1 in 494.65

Airport Deuces: wild royal = 1 in 523.68
Airport Deuces: wild royal or better = 1 in 471.79

So quads in 9/6 DDB are a little more frequent than the combined frequency of a wild royal, four deuces, or natural royal in the Deuces Wild variants you mentioned.

so I'm avg for wild royals in DW and waaaaaaaay above avg for quads in ddb. :)
(and it was 8/5 ddb ultimate X for one of them. the other machine was near the lowest end of the payscale.)

hm.. why are the odds of getting a wild royal better with airport deuces (98.9%) than fpdw (100.7%)?

My guess is that the higher payoff for 4 of a kind in FPDW means you don't hold suited KT/KJ/KQ as often as you do in Airport Deuces.
