No a hand pay is anything over 3k in pa that is not a result of a win- for example you feed 2500 into machine you win 600 and cash out for 3100 when you hit cash out it comes up hand pay

Don't Play this game!! It is a 1.5% Loser but with the Royal at 4700 we can say it is now around a 1.2% Loser... ahhh but if we realize we only need x amount of coin in for one day per year and we get x amount of mail back for the whole year it somehow becomes around 110.5% Payback :) !
Hit this about 4:30 this morning. Breakfast tasted better for some reason!
Now this is at another property and I can only average 500 hands a day but it is nice when you hit these!
I hit these all the time and it is so much easier and better than working for Royals! No strategy or mistakes involved!

Ok ok... just to show that I do not always play single line only. I sucked out on the River playing this a few nights ago... I actually cashed out after this hand so I left it on the machine for the next guy to look at.
However that 8/5 bonus poker above is worth 75 dollars an hour which isn't too bad in my book!

Never thought I would get dealt 4 Aces and a kicker again, but I came close. I apologize for the grainy picture. This was taken on my old phone whose camera was crapping out on me. I pulled 5 out of 10 kickers. Too bad I was low balling at the time playing quarters. The game was 9/5 DDB. I was running bad at 9/6 dollars so I went the low route.

I have a ton of these... the best that I ever did was one for 6300 which is the highest I have had on them. However it is not rare to get over 4k once in awhile. By the way it isn't exactly Blazing Sevens. This is a variant I suppose the first was was the older version that actually had no name and this is the same game with the 3 dollar line called Red Hot 7s as you can see.

Not only are Blazing 7's and Red Hot 7's different games, they are made by different companies.
I think the original Bally Blazing 7's is one of the best slot `games ever. IGT agreed and copied it with their Sizzling 7's.

Big day for me at Winstar at the OK/TX border.
All three of these happened within an hour to an hour and a half of arrival
then while I was waiting for that hand pay.. I got this.. notice the order of the 2s are identical and the rank of the kicker is identical....
then about 30 minutes later... this whopper.... FINALLY....

I keep more details on my quads/royals because I like multiplier games. I would call it an 8X quarter royal. Much better than my 2X dime royal at UX! All great hits! Congrats!

I did check the machines for multipliers... There were none. I was playing it straight up.
I asked for a security escort to my car. Left right after the Royal. Well.. One hand after.. I played off the multiplier.

However your response didn't answer my initial question of whether the results posted were Vulturing multiple machines, or playing UX heads up, or some other combination of factors.

Well it's kind of weird... if you hit a progressive for under 1200... it will pay out on the machine. But for some reason their TDB 4 aces with a kicker lock up and require a hand pay.

Different casinos are different. I think Alan said (with pic) that he hit AWAK or RF (don't remember) on $0.05 TDB at Bellagio(?) which was a handpay of $200. Obviously not all games there lockup at $200.
I know of one that had or does have $1k lockups on SOME machines but not others.

My understanding is that you have to wait 2 weeks for the check. I don't trust them enough, being an Indian casino, to wait for that.
Edited to add.... if someone had a different experience here at WinStar...ie: getting a check right away, please let me know.

Not really an option since that means a drive to Shreveport from Dallas.... extra 2 hours each way. For the times I hit something that big to require a check.. I'll figure it out.
I should note over 20K you have no choice but to get a check.... but I've never had the fortune to have to deal with that problem.
