Does "real" midi-bacc (players touch cards) exist at $25 mins in LV? If so, where? The only midi games I saw on my last trip out there were $50-$100 mins...maybe I was looking in the wrong place?

Nope. No $25 bac tables where you touch the cards. All the casinos I run into in Vegas the minimum is $100 for you to touch the cards.

I don't know maybe go off strip and head to the Fremont area casinos to see if they offer it.

I dont think there are any midi games downtown. Maybe at a nice locals casino? Gvr or red rock or M? Or on-strip but off-hours?

I'll be in LV in 3 weeks, so I can give you an answer when I get back. Every time I've visited LVH they've had $25 midi. I've seen it other places, but only during the off days/hours. Most midi tables are $100 min.

Why the preference?

I mean, unless you're marking the cards, or you like to tear them up, I can't see why there is a preference towards touching them.

DJ, Have you ever played big baccarat or baccarat at all? For us, baccarat players, the game gets much more exciting when you are allowed to do so, specially because you can reveal the cards at your own peace. Since big baccarat is oftenly more expensive/hard to find - midi baccarat games that allow so are a must!

There is a joy and drama to the game when you can slowly determine each card's value solely by analyzing the pip pattern...

Imagine how much of a bore hold' em would be if you were just shown your cards and couldn't touch them.
It has the benefit of letting the player control the pace of the game.
It personalizes the experience more.

No, I don't play it.

But now I understand the preference. Yeah, I can see that.

You can't mark the cards. All cards are discarded after one use in Midi

Yes, you posted this link before I believe and I got a lot out of it, Baccarat is my favorite game now! Just last night the player hand showed natural 8, I had a jack on the first card and then 4 sides on the second on one hand. very exciting to sloooowly squeeze out a nine! It adds a lot of drama to the game. For me, midi Baccarat is to mini Baccarat as Craps is to California (card based) craps.

Flamingo had midi-baccarat in October of 2011. When I was there in February this year the table was at $100. I am not sure if this is a permanent change or if was busy but I have played on the 25 midi table multiple times.
