Poker Burnout is a new table game currently being played at the Lodge and Saratoga casinos in Blackhawk Colorado. There is no dealer hand to beat and the player has two opportunities to raise as cards are revealed. A twist to this one is the player gets three hole cards and must discard one of them. Question -- what is the form of poker where you do that?

Please click the link and let me know what you think.

The question for the poll is would you play Poker Burnout?

Typo, I think:

Pineapple is the variant where you get 3 cards and give one back after the flop.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Yes, thanks.

In rule 9 it says that the player is making his best 5 card hand out of the 5 community cards and 3 hole cards.

But at that point , doesn’t the player only have 2 hole cards remaining ?

There are a lot of small penises (did I pluralize that properly? It looks funny) on this form.

So let’s say you are dealt 3-4-6, and the flop is 5-7-K. You have to throw away your straight! And also its open endedness!

For that reason alone I would never play this game. Regardless of any odds, element of risk, or variance. The game would be emotionally frustrating.

Even worse , what if you’re dealt K-K-K and the flop comes K-7-3. You have to throw away your four of a kind. And you have no chance to make it again. At least in your example you could still make the straight

Wasn't it a B-52s song... maybe Rock Lobster?

OK, I looked it up... I was close, but no cigar.

Yes, right band, wrong song.

On another topic, I see 6 out of 11 voters have voted for the bottom choice. Interesting.

Side tangent:

In 1968 I went on a high school field trip to Toronto and they let us all go into a popular bar on Young Street to watch early Canadian rock-n-roll. There was a strobe light which got turned on in the dark room. I passed out from it... I had never seen one before, and apparently it caused some kind of brain-epileptic reaction. They just dragged me outside and let me wake up, all alone, on Young St. Has anyone ever woken up somewhere, and you have no clue how you got there? I took me like 5 minutes to figure it out because I was too afraid to ask anyone how I got there! That is a nasty feeling... passing out is bad enough, but then waking up and not remembering how you got there, I think that was even worse.

I've heard of this. I think I've seen warning signs on some rides at Disneyland that they use strobe lights and people with a sensitivity to them should not go on the ride.

It must have been scary experience. Can't say that I can relate to it.

You have probably heard of this urban legend: An episode of the popular kid's TV show Pokemon caused over 600 young children in Japan to have epileptic attacks.

How is the length supposed to be measured? It's from the bottom side to the tip, right? I hope.

Quote:

erect length was measured from the root (pubo‐penile junction) of the penis to the tip of the glans (meatus) on the dorsal surface, where the pre‐pubic fat pad was pushed to the bone.

Note to self: use private browsing when googling anything with the word penis. Who knows what kinds of ads I’ll see on Facebook now.

No. These GLI reports are awful about breaking things down like that.
