One could argue that since Caribbean Stud gave birth to this segment back in 1988, the only other proprietary games—that’s games, not side bets—to attain legitimate and longstanding commercial viability are the ones below:

Hey, no problem. My reply was poorly written. You titled the post Casino Hold'em (circle r) The Long Shot, is all. I never heard of the game, I've never seen it at a casino in North America. I don't play on line.
I've also never seen nor heard of 21st Century Blackjack nor Free Bet Blackjack. I've heard of Fortune Asia Poker, but never seen it, and don't know the rules, I've only seen it pop up in the bodies of posts here at WoV.
No slag on you. I enjoyed the link, I thought it was very interesting and thanks for sharing it. If anything, the fact that I've never heard of more than 20% of the games listed by Snow makes his point stronger. It's a hard nut to crack.
