The issue of injuries and sports betting is a sore point with me. Trevor Lawrence was hurt, how badly hurt? Whether he will play or not will be a game time decision. If he plays, will he be limited by the injury he is recovering from? There are people around him that know the answers, the families of people around him know, his trainers know, the coaches know, their families and friends and neighbors know.

So, there is this bubble of people that know far more than I do about Trevor Lawrence's injury, whether he will start and whether he will be limited if he plays - and you know that some of them are likely wagering on the game. Some of them may be providing info - perhaps indirectly -to the sportsbooks. Maybe to some of the "sharp bettors."

I just choose to stay away from games where there are injury uncertainties about QBs and other key players. Can't see how people in this contest think they can make picks on those games.
