Here are the Rainman's week 6 picks and again rainman picked the Cowboys-2 twice. Of course, not flagged by the spreadsheet; and Rainman was graded as 5-1 on Week 6, apparently getting 3 units of credit for the Cowboys pick.

On week 8 rainman picked the 49ers twice but I caught this one and Mission chose to give him a -1 for the one unit pick. Not sure why rainman continued to use this strategy in later weeks.

This is from week 7, again Rainman submitted two picks for Raiders -3. Rainman was graded at 0-6 (!) that week in the cumulative grading tab of the spreadsheet; but apparently the spreadsheet table that I posted lists him as 0-5. I have a sinking feeling that the results for rainman that I post are based on scoring only the latter of the two identical picks, but the tabular entries in my cumulative grading tab are giving him credit for both of his duplicative picks. :(
I have not yet looked at Weeks 1-5, but not sure we need to.

We need to hear from Mission regarding rainman's status. This is his contest and we need to honor his right to make decisions and deal with whatever messes arise.
At this moment, the Monday Night game is undecided, but unjon has finished 6-0, to qualify for the Perfection Bonus. However, soopoo and ncfatcat will also have perfect 6-0 weeks if the Chiefs cover the -2.5 point spread.

No we don't! There are no messes, I cleaned them all up. I screwed up and to make amends and clear
up any issue's I fire myself pay the winner his due and play next year hopefully without making
any jackass mistakes. There are no problems I'm out!. It's done.

So, there is a game this Friday (Jets v. Dolphins). I assume it is not eligible to be picked since it is not a Sat-Sun-Mon game?
I can't remember there ever being an NFL game on a Friday (although the interwebs say there was one in 1986). I just wanted to make sure.

Thought it was legal, but definitely violates Rule 3 #3a. Have done this multiple times this season just
haven't been noticed because they weren't stacked in order. Whatever happens im cool with it

Stay in please, I think I’m going to grade all instances of duplicates as a push (the Confidence Pick shall always push) for the time being.
I should really be checking for this, but I get lazy with the spreadsheet and just copy/paste Picks from PMs (adjusting only for formatting), so it’s as much my fault.
Maybe slightly less my fault, but non-zero my fault.

I’ll also announce it when I post the Lines, but I think I’ll include that game with the normal making that set of Picks one hour before kickoff (and the Picks cannot be changed) to apply a La Saturday early pick rules.

It seems that Rainman is absolutely determined to resign, so I have no choice but to accept. Unlike BillRyan (who I leave it for the winner to remember to collect on), Rainman has played enough weeks that I obviously can’t allow a bow out.
If Rainman is determined to resign, then I would encourage him to at least play for Perfection Bonuses. There has to be some equitable way to resolve this, I think.
However, if that’s his decision, then I would ask that he remain in the Standings, but be regarded as disqualified. On balance, it seems like picking this way didn’t even necessarily help him, but I’d have to go back and look.
In the meantime, congratulations to UnJon on a $20 Perfection Bonus!
It would also appear that I have a little bit of breathing room in trying to win the You Suck prize, but there’s a lot of season left. Honestly, I’ve watched maybe ten minutes of actual games this year, so I’m just trying to find Picks that look bad on the face of them. Lol

I will not be available on Sunday morning (or any other time on Sunday)* and will not be able to provide a summary of Week 12 picks after Mission has posted the Week 12 picks by contestant. unjon has previously offered to fill-in for me when I am absent, and I'll check to see if he is available -however, I believe he may be on the road this entire holiday week. I will still be able to post the weekly results after the Monday Night game, so no problem there.
It is not essential to have a tabular summary of picks on Sunday morning; it is just intended to add to the fun of the contest. If unjon can't help with that summary table, does anyone else want to offer to compile it manually and post it on Sunday? I am talking about the table that looks like this:

I have just returned to find that, in my absence, I have gone 5-0 with my only non-winner being a push with my Eagles-3 pick. By far my best week of the year!
