The Bills O/U is 54. The next highest O/U is 48.5!
I need a decent week (4-2) to get back to being Mr. Average.
My lines already have Bills as 3 point faves, not 2.5. Bills have dominated Tua in their meetings. Even the n the Bills loss last year the Bills dominated the game, outgaining Miami by around 300 yards.
Think how bad the Bears must be…. 3.5 point home underdogs to a team that gave up 70 last week…..
I need a decent week (4-2) to get back to being Mr. Average.

When sending picks to Mission this week these errors were made and I needed to search them out and correct by hand.
1. Names of teams did not start with an uppercase letter: nunbeater (all picks); JohnnyQ (Giants as giants)
2. Jets were written as JETS: JohnnyQ
3. Buccaneers was written as Bucs: Rainman

Average win% = 42.54%, so really not TOO very hugely worse than the theoretical outcome of 25 blind monkeys flipping coins.
And, toward the ends of the somewhat asymmetrical bell curve, 5 of the 25 (20% of participants) have over a 60% win rate, while somehow 8 of 25 (32% of the assembled WoV brain trust) are impressively managing to win fewer than 40% of their expertly deduced selections among outcomes that are designed to be inherently 50/50 propositions. So I'd say arguably it's not all THAT much lower skewed of a distribution curve than than a sports tout outfit employing a hypothetical herd of drunk hamsters running loose on a sportsbook's keyboard, to randomly and inevitably show up with several "hot, hot, hot, proven winners setting the world on fire with their brilliance!"
And so far, if one has the continued indulgence of a book or two raking-off a reasonably thin juice percentage, making flat bets that simply fade each and every pick equally could actually turn a small profit to date! If maintained (or dare I hope even sucking worse?) to year-end, potentially enough to actually buy something interesting! Remarkably accomplishing something that no reputable academic study, among the many conducted on this eternally popular topic in worldwide grad-school geekdom, has ever been able to find existing with any lasting significant consistent extent among those identifying themselves as successful "professional sports bettors."
So please carry on, exactly as y'all are. Sincerely. Because now you can be comforted with the knowledge that DrawingDead will be quietly appreciating all your collective efforts, and is looking forward to not so quietly enjoying the accumulated end of season (upside down) results in the Champagne Room of a local brass pole performance art establishment when it's time to cash out. Picking the NFL games has always been a humbling experience. I'm just slightly below 0.500 for the first 4 weeks.. So a blind monkey would be an upgrade - a notion that my wife would probably agree with.

Sounds good. I should also accept some level of responsibility, particularly for 'Bucs' as I should be checking that myself. In the case of Ed's program, it wasn't concerned with letter cases, but I will keep in mind this one is and do my job better.

I’ve updated the spreadsheet so it’s no longer case sensitive (if I did it correctly). So hopefully less issues going forward. Vikings, vikings and ViKiNgS should all work fine. Vikes will not work.
Appreciate it if people put the colon after their name as I started to formula around that but it was rather annoying to fix for so I quit.
