Quote: RomesI feel like at no point in that response did you respond to my idea. If you KNOW the "favorite" is RIGGED to win against the big underdog, then why not simply bet all of your money on it???
Because you completely missed the WHOLE POINT of what I'm getting at. Whether it's profitable in the long run or not is irrelevant. The point is sports are not RANDOM like they're supposed to be. I dont give a f**k about making millions or a billion, I just want to enjoy my life, something as little as watching my favorite sports team that I grew up thinking was an honorable sport only to find out it's also ruled by corruption. Just go ahead, next time you see a big underdog thats up big during the game, just watch what happens the rest of the game compared to to the beginning of the game. Just watch. Like night and day, the same contact driving in the paint from the underdog team that resulted in a foul earlier in the game, is now no where to be seen, meanwhile the favorite team that is losing barely gets touched driving into the paint and it's a whistle and before you know it the favorite is back to winning and close to the spread by the 3rd or 4th quarter, whole thing is a complete circus. If they were actual fouls, I could understand, when you notice it's all b.s and then you realize it's because one team is a big underdog and the spread is +15 points, it starts to make you sick to your stomach about what's really going on. This happens TIME AFTER TIME. Just go ahead and watch it yourself.
This whole society is a piece of trash. Money has destroyed all of you. All of you will realize I'm right when you're 90 years old on your death bad looking at that pile of paper next to you that you worked so hard to build up and realizing your whole life was just chasing that bullshit and didnt or couldnt even enjoy your life due to corruption from yourself and corruption all around you. I'm actually thinking of getting front row seats at an nba game, and just heckling the refs all game and letting them know that I know what they're doing I will yell my lungs out every single time the refs go up the court and letting the players know as well. If I was an athlete, all of these refs would be getting called out in the media for corruption until they admit what they're doing. All you hear are crickets when the most obvious foul bias is given each and every game. If these players and coaches are not in on the rig, then they're just another money hungry societal immoral drone blinded by the paper in their wallet and scared to get fined and give some of it away. Whole society makes me sick.
Quote: ZenKinGEnough is enough. IVE HAD IT. For anyone that is not braindead who watches NBA games, knows the NBA is corrupt and the games are completely rigged to keep a big underdog from ever winning a game as much as possible. The only way a big underdog ever wins is if they shoot lights out where the refs cant manipulate the game. Go ahead and watch the games yourself, its like clockwork. I have NO horse in this race. I have NO money in these bets, this is completely an objective observation, so emotion is NOT clouding my mind.
Watch the games yourself. Find a double digit underdog such as the bulls were tonight against the bucks. Bulls were up by 20 at halftime. TWENTY. And they were 14.5 point dogs. So what do i tell myself will happen before the second half even begins? The bulls will get NO CALLS. No FREE THROWS, every 50/50 call will be in favor of the bucks, every time the bucks drive to the hoop there will be whistles, every time the bulls drive, NOTHING. The Bucks will also shoot free throws all 2nd half. And guess what happened? Exactly that. What a coincidence. The bulls didnt get ONE FREE THROW since they were up 23 points up until they were down 8 LOL. Oh thank you so much refs for the free throws now that the spread is in check. Who the hell do they think they're fooling? Maybe they can fool 99.9% of this brainwashed droned out public that have a brain the size of a peanut. This happens every single time a big underdog is blowing a team out. Sports are completely rigged out of their minds. Anyone who disagrees me is doing a huge disservice to society.
The FBI needs to investigate every single sports league, especially the NBA and put every single one of these corrupt immoral drones in federal prison for life and tortured to death. Then maybe the next generation of refs will not sell their souls for a freaking dollar. Im also convinced the players are in on it as well so Ive had enough. The one thing I enjoyed my whole life is officially over. Never watching a game again until the FBI throws every single one of these refs and commissioner in prison. Ive watched sports my whole life thinking it was a random event and now after careful observation, it is confirmed for me. I've had enough with all of the red flags I've seen over the past 3 years. I feel so bad for all of you who think this is a fair random event. Nothing but a bunch of corrupt immoral piece of garbage scum and im trying my hardest right now NOT to go on a cursing profanity spree.
If i was a professional player i swear on my life i would put these refs in the hospital and call every single one of them out in every single press conference. My salary would go to fines every single week buf I could care less as long as the word gets out. Another reason these players are in on it. How can none of them ever call any of these refs out for rigging these games? You only ever hear 'oh these refs with the bad calls, yada yada yada', but none of these players ever come straight out and accuse this league of being corrupt when the most obvious calls are missed time and time again especially when the 'timing' of these calls are happening when an underdog is blowing a team out etc and god forbid they win the big moneyline. Bunch of corruption.
Do you guys seriously need another Tim Donaghy scandal to happen before you realize the whole league is rigged? Why is everyone so reactive in this pathetic society rather than proactive? Oh I know why, because if you think outside the box for one second and say something not 'socially acceptable', you're immediately labeled a 'cook' or a 'conspiracy theorist'. God bless me and my ability to notice corruption, otherwise this world is just a bunch of pathetic brainwashed droned out idiots. Every single one of you that thinks professional sports is fair need to be drug tested. You guys are a complete disgrace to society and why these leagues get away with what theyve been doing for decades.
I watched that second half too. And the Bulls didn’t lose because of the refs or any fix. They lost because they’re horrible. Bledsoe took the game over in the third quarter , Milwaukee hit a ton of threes, and the bulls weren’t aggressive at all and that’s why there was a free throw disparity.
More importantly , my over 225.5 cashed 💰
By the way, as for your other claim that double digit underdogs don’t win outright in the NBA...
I did some extensive research (had to go back an entire two days) and found that this past Wednesday night Memphis won at Milwaukee as a 10 point dog, and Detroit won at Toronto as a 10 point dog

Once again you and everyone else missed my entire point. My problem is how much the refs try to help the favorite come back when theyre huge favorites and down big. Thats not random like a sports event should be. Also, Im aware bulls settled for a lot of jump shots but look at Milwaukee getting these ridiculous and 1 calls, and whistles every time they get in the paint. Also why did chicago players just stop trying to play defense in the 2nd half and watching Milwaukee players drive from the 3 pt line all the way to the hoop for an uncontested layup and dunk? Are these players seriously in on the fix?
Oh great, you found a 10 point dog that won, actually they were 9.5 but lets not digress. Go watch those games and see the inconsistency of the calls going one way compared to the beginning of the game. I dont even have to go watch them because I already know what happened, Milwaukee and Toronto most likely got all the calls in the 2nd half and Memphis and Detroit had to outshoot the lack of calls they were getting because they were a big underdog. It happens every time. You literally never see a big underdog get 50/50 foul calls in the 2nd half if theyre winning big, let alone any foul calls unless theyre brutally hacked. These games are far from random. The same foul calls they got in the 1st and 2nd quarter are no where to be seen late in the game if theyre winning big.
Those like you who admit they did their best and it just wasn’t enough. Those like you who never blame others, but instead respect and congratulate those who were just a little better than them.
Here’s to you King, and Thank You for losing with dignity! You’re an inspiration to many of us!

But let me say this. When it comes to sports and yourself the ONLY thing that is relevant IS MAKING MONEY PERIOD.

Yeah you missed the part that its not just about making money for me. I want to enjoy sports, sit back and root for my favorite team after a long day, etc and know that its a fair game, but that is a distant memory to me now. Whether you can make a long term profit by just betting these favorites or taking advantage of the fix is irrelevant to me because my whole point of these posts were to say how the games are being rigged with obvipus bias towards one that and how it has destroyed sports for me as a whole because it is not a random event and the equivalent of watching WWE.
After everything Ive noticed over the past 3-5 years, it's now officially clear to me these games are not random as they should be. The refs in all pro sports, especially the NBA have extreme bias towards one side depending on the current score of the game in relation to the spread of the game. It's much more apparent when a huge underdog is winning as they wont let that team win the big moneyline bet as that would destroy the sportsbooks. The refs manage the game as best they can depending on the spread of the game if you watch these games carefully. The only time the spread gets out of reach is when its out of the ref's hands and a team shoots lights out.
For example, If a huge underdog is blowing out the favorite as what happened yesterday, then the refs extremely favor the favorite team to catch up and never give any free throws to the big underdog team thats winning. I guess thats a major +EV opportunity if there are any 'live bet lines' at halftime that you can get a hold of. The bulls last night after being up 20 at halftime, had 4 fouls called on them right at the START of the 3rd quarter and Milwaukee was shooting free throws the rest of the quarter. What a coincidence.
Also vice versa; if a huge favorite is winning, the refs then favor the underdog to catch up. The worst scenario is when like I said a huge underdog is actually WINNING the game, the refs do everything in their power to let the favorite catch up and WIN the game because of the big moneyline payout for the underdog that would destroy the bookies.
The whole thing is one completely programmed event, which is quite sad to me because life to me is much more important than making money. Knowing that sports are completely fixed has destroyed a very important part of my life and another reason why money has destroyed society and another reason why this society is trash. People are so blinded by chasing another goose egg that they lose sight of what is truly important. So sad and pathetic.
Again, I have no money riding on any of these games or props. These are my careful observations throughout the years observing many teams and what exactly happens.
I'm sorry that you have convinced yourself that sports is rigged and that its ruined an important part of your life. OK, so now what? Sit around here and bitch about it while trying to convince us drones who will never understand, OR use that information and make a killing for yourself?
You want an investigation and things to change? Here's an idea, use your information to crush the books and eventually they will be forced to change things. And if not, at least you will get rich in the meantime.
The fact that you are not using this information to your advantage shows me that you don't fully trust your beliefs.

I can guarantee you there is not a large anount of money on the heavy underdog moneylines in the NBA. the books lose way more if the favorite wins and covers.
So last night for example , the books would’ve been better off if the bulls won the game outright , and the worst situation for them was Milwaukee winning and covering (which is what happened). If the refs really wanted to fix the game in the way that helps out the books the most , they’d cause the favorite to win the game but not cover.

This is correct. Books have their worst weeks when favs cover a disproportionate number of games.

The point is theres a fix in regardless what the exact reason is. Its either keeping the spread as close as possible for atV ratings, its to protect the bookies, its to protect the huge bettors betting underground behind the scenes, it could be the refs betting on the games themselves or for a friend. It could be a player who is throwing the game for a friend to get rich(how would they ever find out?).
The point is these games are not random and whatever is the reason who the hell knows. After everything Ive seen over the years, something is definitely not right. If i had to narrow it down to one belief, it's for TV ratings especially when the NBA now endorses sports betting so these refs are told to keep the spread as close as possible for maximum viewership.
Thankfully we have ZK to show us the light about all the conspiracies in the world today.
The "retired" at 30 Guy has shown us the light and as his reward he can't even enjoy a Bulls Game. You know the Bulls, the same team EVERY Drone his age grew up liking because of Mike. Talk about following the crowd as a drone.

How much money do you think it takes for a ref to risk his livelihood , his name , and prison time .. in order for him to deliberately fix a game one way or the other ?
That ref knows he’s at the mercy of any other individual involved getting caught, or coming forward voluntarily , so how much do these refs need to be bribed to risk all that.
And so on top of that, those placing the bets need to bet large enough amounts so that their winnings cover what they pay the refs plus have enough left over to make it worthwhile in their own end.
And you think this is happening all across the nba and all sports , so that would require 100s of people being in on it and you don’t think anything leaks ?
You have these elaborate scenarios in your head that make you unhappy.
When confronted with evidence that your scenarios don't make sense, you just keep making them more elaborate. E.g the refs couldn't do this alone. So therefore the players must be in on it too.
Your self esteem is strangly tied up in these scenarios being true and it gets to the point where you think the whole world is crazy, or stupid and you are the only one who can percieved the hidden forces orchestrating everything. Because that's easier to believe than 'oh crap. It's me."

Obviously. This is being done quietly and with amazing competence.
Now, might the human factor play into some of these calls? Sure. A player goes down and the crowd screams. The human ref calls a foul even though there was no contact and the player just slipped. LeBron James shoots an airball and acts like he is hit, ref calls the foul. Timofey Mozgov makes the same miss, no foul. Not the ref fixing the game consciously. Just the human factor.
But, ZK, if you think I'm wrong (I'm not), then NOT doing what Axel says is just plain stupid. If you have identified a flaw in the lines or odds, and don't take advantage of it, well, nothing more needs to be said as I'm not in the mood to be suspended today.
Quote: SOOPOOAre there some games across NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MMA, Tennis that have been 'fixed'? Of course. Some felons have been caught, and it has been well documented. But to think it is commonplace is just plain crazy. Most in position to 'fix' a game just have too much to lose and not enough to gain. You think James Harden who makes 30+ million a year from NBA and 10+ million a year from endorsements is going to throw a game so his 'uncle' can make 10 grand on that game? You think Goodell is going to tell a ref to 'keep it close' because the 20 million a year he gets from the NFL isn't enough to feed his family? You think an NHL ref, making 300k a year wants to jeopardize that by risking going to jail? You may find the rare example, but it will not be pervasive.

I don’t particularly like that argument, because it assumes people act rationally. It’s like saying drunk driving doesn’t exist because it’s far cheaper to get an Uber than the (probability adjusted) cost of getting a DUI / dying / killing someone / etc. On top of that, people don’t act rationally because games have been fixed. To say others wouldn’t fix a game, yet it has been done, has to be some sort of logical fallacy.
Didn’t the G.O.A.T. quarterback, Michael Vick, get in trouble for some supposed dog fighting? “Why would someone do that when he’s making XYZ millions per year?!”
I’d say almost 0% chance IF any rigging is happening it’s coming from the books’ end. It’d either be by refs being paid off personally or management pushing for closer games.
Also, I don’t think it’s necessarily improbable that refs are, for lack of better words, “pushed” by management to keep games close to make them more exciting. Nobody wants to watch a total blow out. And especially in the NBA where you got super-teams that are practically a lock to make it to the top-4, it’s not too exciting (not to mention, basketball is the least exciting sport to watch, and that’s objectively a fact! Lol).
I don’t think there’s some widespread conspiracy where refs are fixing games all the time. And if it is happening, like what I just described, I think it’d have a small factor on the game in general, where it may change the outcome of the game a small % of the time.
Then again, I don’t really give a s*** if they’re rigged or not. And if they are, I wanna be in on it and be told who’s going to be favored.
Quote: RSI don’t particularly like that argument, because it assumes people act rationally.

I said MOST. Some have acted irrationally. I think it is EXTREMELY rare in the case of fixing a game.
I assume you do not consider baseball or soccer sports then. You can't possibly consider either of those sports exciting to watch.

Why are you trying to rub it in implying I was wrong when you clearly know my bet was assuming the team would be healthy. When 4 of your best players are out the first half of the season why would anyone try to make fun of my lock pick if my analysis was related to the team actually being healthy? No one can predict 4 of the best players all going down. It has nothing to do with me being wrong if they dont cover. 4 of their main players have been out.
Quote: billryanIt has everything to do with you being wrong. Lets face it- you were wrong. Trying to make excuses for your being wrong is the problem, not being wrong. All of us are wrong on occasion, some more often than others but everyone is wrong sometimes. You made a claim and it looks like you were wrong. Embrace it and move on. Men accept their mistakes. Children make excuses. Injuries are part of the game, otherwise we wouldn't need to speculate on how great Bill Walton or David Thompson would have been. You said they would cover. If they don't, you were wrong. No excuses. If you had bet, would you ask for a refund based on unforeseen circumstances? Would you get one?
I wouldnt ask for a refund because a bet is a bet, but that doesnt make me wrong. Yes, inuries are part of the game, but not like this. Maybe its common throughout the season, one or two players go out for a week or so a couple of times throughout the season, but all at different times. But when 4 MAJOR pieces of your team all go down for 3+months at the SAME TIME, that's an anomaly and if you cant see that, you simply have an agenda and just want to make me seem like im wrong like you already have.
You simply cant sit here and say thats 'part of the game'. But i love how you try and make it seem like I was wrong and that its just another common thing that happens and relate it to 'injuries are part of the game'. Yeah go ahead and tell me how many times 4 of your best players go down for 3+ months all at the SAME TIME and then get back to me. This isnt just another 'injuries are part of the game' BS.
Quote: billryanSo were you wrong or not?
No, regardless if i lose the bet or not. If i win, it has nothing to do with my analysis because it would be lucky to do so. I would never bet if i knew 4 players would go down so you wont see me bragging if they still cover. The same thing if i lose, it had nothing to do with my analysis either as I didnt expect 4 main players to all go down at the same time for 3+ months.

Saying a bet is a lock as long as everything goes perfectly is a contradiction of the term “lock”. Injuries are part of any sports betting analysis. The Bulls have injuries, the teams they’re playing have injuries.
I’ll take a survey of everyone holding a Bulls over 27.5 ticket and see if they’re as thrilled about it as you said they’d be

He did not even have a good bet! The Bulls had a decent starting 5 with absolutely no depth. Any injury would cripple them. Also, tanking is their best hope.
I live in Chicago and have read the coverage, they had the potential to be a 8 seed this year if everything broke well. 30-35 wins was what was expected. He got unlucky, but it wasn’t this great bet when it was made.
Quote: ZenKinGWhy are you trying to rub it in implying I was wrong when you clearly know my bet was assuming the team would be healthy. When 4 of your best players are out the first half of the season why would anyone try to make fun of my lock pick if my analysis was related to the team actually being healthy? No one can predict 4 of the best players all going down. It has nothing to do with me being wrong if they dont cover. 4 of their main players have been out.
If there are things that can't be predicted that can affect the outcome, it can't be a lock.
You could just bet every team to go over their season win totals. You would have like a 70% chance that each bet either goes over or only goes under because of "unpredictable" injuries.
But with his luck, every truck would have broken down the night he got a flat.
No clue if there is a God or not, but if there is one, he gave us ZK for our amusement. And for that I Thank him. He is the gift that keeps giving.
Who could ever foresee injuries and a coach firing in the NBA. ZK is cursed.
As The Black Prince once said- I can tolerate the Irish but screw The Welchers.
At least Nathan pays off his.losing bets.

Is it really necessary to call ZK a welcher? Especially since he is not here to defend himself. I'd put that in the personal insult category but I'm not a judge.
There’s no shame in moving back home and trying something else to make you happy.

ZK hasn’t welched on anything on this forum and I’d say attacking him with false statements when he can’t even defend himself is extremely uncalled for.

What are you thinking, saying this? What, is it winter around here, that everyone is throwing a blizzard of snowflake bait?
See you in 3. Geez.
