this one falls in the believe it or not category
my teammate, the year after I graduated - one year younger than me -
got 40 on Dematha in a losing effort
after the game Dematha's legendary Coach Morgan Wooten came up to him and congratulated him and told him it was the most points ever scored on one of his Dematha teams
Alcindor (Kareem) got 33 on them in the first game and 16 in the 2nd
sadly, and so unfairly to him, there is no internet account of this game - that really pisses me off - it was an unimportant non-league game - but still
.
the Commanders losing to the Boys was the wildest game I've ever seen
2 missed PATs, a blocked punt, and a kickoff return for a TD and a punt return for a TD
really ugly errors by both teams at different times
41 points scored in the 4th quarter_____________________(-:/
very, very entertaining
.
totally boring till the 4th quarter, then it was "don't miss" footballQuote: lilredrooster.

had a 50% profit boost bet down that I made @ 3rd quarter on the under ... fortunately a little voice told me to cash out before what I could get was next to nothing

I'm looking forward to it—my two favorite college teams. The 1973 Sugar Bowl still haunts me.

That was probably the only TD reception that Richard Todd ever had.
He scored a touchdown, but is he credited with throwing a TD pass on the play?

Yes! As has become commonplace for Josh Allen, it’s another first. First NFL player to throw a TD, run for a TD, and receive a TD in the same game. While NOT actually being credited with a reception! So he had ZERO receptions, but had ONE TD reception!
He is now odds on favorite to win the MVP. He’s had a few bad games, but also many ‘highlight reel’ plays as well.
Saquon Barkley probably deserves the MVP. He is probably going to set a record for ‘2nd half’ rushing yards. I think by A LOT. Gets better as the games go on. Combo of power, finesse, and speed.
