Hey, I remember Rowland Office! I grew up pretty close to where the Braves and Expos used to train in South FL. I recall hearing his name announced at spring training game one time and thought it sounded like "Rollin' Office," which created an interesting visual in my young mind.Quote: smoothgrhWho has the weirder name? However, I think of all 4 major NA team sports, the NHL has a lock on interesting names. My favorite was Darcy Wakaluk.

I think Harthorne Wingo's name kept him around long enough for him to learn to play in the league. Possibly the most popular last guy off the bench guy in NBA history.
