Hopefully they stay healthy until the playoffs where the games really become fun

I hear all the time how bad both LA teams are, the Angles and Dodgers.
Trying to buy a world series championship

well the year is about 50% complete

Beardgoat, I've never really hated the Sox. Didn't root against them.......but they're starting to really get to me.....they're working their way up the hate ladder. Currently just behind the Cardinals and Mets.

Sally, most of what you have is stated can't be argued against, however, I can tell you that the +130dogs have performed profitably over the last 245 picks this year and 67 picks from last year. It has not yet reached a material sample size, but considering it's net win rate, I don't think that we're too far off.

Sally, I beg your pardon, the above is in error. There were not 67 picks last year. That was the number of days with which this current algorithm was employed. I do not have handy the number of picks, but if I were to use an average of 2 (2014 avg. per day is 2.66) then last year's picks would have totaled approximately 134. So it's 134 last year and 245 so far this year. A total of 379 picks made profitably.

Hey Arnie, what happens is that I apply an algorithm to all of today's games. Based upon that it selects what is hopefully a group of winners. Out of that selected group, I found that any team, again within that group already selected, that is at least +130 is included in the +130dog picks. So you will find that the group is NOT simply all +130 dogs. It is a select few. Also, you may find that I have a dog shown as +135 and when you go to play it, it maybe only +125. That won't matter. It would still remain a pick.

A rare instance whereby it's pick in the algorithm conflicted with another measure that I use and therefore I decided to leave it as a pick, but exclude it as a higher priced +130 dog. Sorry for the confusion. I'll try to point it out up front in the future.

robletfca, as a 7 year cancer survivor of one of the worst types of cancer and pretty much considered dead at the time, I know what the power of positive thinking can bring. I bring this up because yesterday I just had my first single annual, as opposed to multiple, set of exams and am clean. I would hope that everyone understands that much can be overcome and nothing is impossible.....just stay positive.

I'm glad for that. My grandmother passed away from cancer. Not a fun experience.
You are right, wasn't trying to be negative nancy lol.

As a sports writer in town, I see it all the time people try to go big when they start a streak. If you just stick to a system that works you will win.
Your system was working till this week and your profits on going big got hit hard.

Aren't you betting 100 per bet? Do it you lose it -100 not -130, and if you win it not +100 it like +160 or depending on the -percent. Or are you doing it different on -bets?

robleftca, now I got it. Sorry for being thick headed. Actually, I use 100 as a unit for the dogs and I lay whatever the number is for the favorite. So, for example, Baltimore was a favorite yesterday at -115. I count it as a 115 wager and since they lost, I lost -115.
