Very interesting!

This could either help the horse industry substanially, or end up killing it. This is an obvious attempt to pretty much circumvent the law, and if Congress cares to change it, horse race simulcasting could be devastated.

Of course, as soon as sports betting becomes legal everywhere, that will probably hurt horse racing anyway.

This seems like an attempt to make what they can while they can.

I don't see that at all. Its simply simplifying the betting process through a "front end" that eliminates the horse and race data. Its a sociological marketing ploy for going after a major segment of the market.

After going through the site, I'm convinced it will be a failure.

The fact that you have to wait several minutes after placing your bet to see the results will be its demise.

It's just too clunky, and it's hard to hit big paying horse racing bets, so I think people will get fed up.

Of course, I thought text messaging and facebook would never last...

There's a lot I want to discuss with CDI actually.

Unfortunately my wife made me sell my 100 shares after only making a tiny profit. Could have made $1000 in like 2-3 months.

This won't affect the online horse players as horse racing is an argument. The race form creates the argument. Horse players always think they know better and like to portend the future through analysis. They love the argument. Online players will have zero interest interest in this game. They might throw a buck or two at it on a lark but that's the same money that would have otherwise been bet on live racing. As far as attracting the non-horse player.....seems too slow with no visual stimulation. Don't get it.....but who knows?
