We need to get a rough estimate of who is interested in playing poker after dinner on Saturday. We need these numbers so that we can arrange to have a table and a dealer. Please post whether you would like to play. Thank you

Much to my disappointment, I won't make it this weekend for any of the festivities...I hope a good time is had by all, it was a lot of fun last year!

I will donate money at the poker table if it is necessary. But I'd prefer to watch or to play craps (I did both about 50/50 last year). So, I guess, count me in unless/until you can get 7-10 other folks on the poker list?

I believe Bruce and I are up for poker. Bruce is a bit more of a newbie in that realm.

Well that is six players including an anonymous person who PM'ed me so I think poker will be no problem to get a table. I'm assuming Mike will play again this year?!?

I'm not sure if I can make it or not this year. However, I will try to get a private poker table for everyone like before. Unfortunately, Binions has closed their main poker room since then(that's too bad because it was actually a beautiful new poker room, what a waste) and are now down to only a few tables near the sportsbook IIRC. So, I'm not sure what kind of staffing they have available or even who's running the place nowadays.
I can also try at GN but I'm not sure who's over their now either, I'll need a head count and time, I know It's hard to say what time everyone will be done with dinner and socializing. Can someone give me a good guess based on past years?
It might come down to winging it and haveing to ask GN to open a new table for us and allow other people waiting on the list to join.

I believe we have about 6 from this thread and 1-2 in the other thread that said they'd play... So perhaps 7-8 so far.
Table around 5 for appetizers and chat while people trickle in. I'd imagine dinner around 6, until about 7-7:30. A save bet for a table should be about 8pm... unless anyone else feels I've constructed the timeline incorrectly?

I've won money from Axel before. I can't wait to do it again.
Ill try to figure out a way to get Axel a DD, that way he can get nice and AxelWolfy and we can all make lots of money at the poker table.

It was 2016 super bowl, I bet 25 cents to your $25k that a commercial we already saw (but was playing again) wasn't a Jeep commercial, or something like that. You won that one.
This last year, it would have been your $22k that the Falcons win to my $1k that the Patriots. I would have taken it for $500, but you and your damn "you gotta bet at least $1k or no bet" saved your ass. At the end of the day, you still lost money on the WH app, so that's good enough for me. ;-)

Again, I'm not sure if I can or will make it Saturday for poker. My magic 8 ball keeps saying, "Cannot predict now".
That's how I make all my decisions nowadays.
I have set up the poker game for everyone between 8 and 9 at Binions. A table should be reserved for us to all get down on first. However, from what I understand they can't legally keep people from getting on the list and playing once someone drops out. I doubt anyone will have a problem with that.
I will reconfirm tonight.

Well I liked to play poker with people I know for fun(not to make money), having some drinks, showing cards, playing more hands that one should, keep the game lively and going etc.Quote: WatchMeWinMan.. this sounds like a real fun event!
