As I know, according to the rules of the original game, the player may either receive an extra (6th) card, or may replace 2-5 of his cards, for the cost of 1x the Ante.
I found an online game where one is allowed, after replacing 2-5 of his cards, to still buy a 6th card.
The game has a disadvantage that the second hand combination is not paid.
Could someone, maybe Dobrij, kindly provide some simulation results how the player expectation will be affected by these rule changes?
