It is possible to make money playing online poker through rakeback. It is simply a % of the rake paid returned to you. You could even not be a winning player at the table and still profit. Could a system or strategy be developed to guarantee a breakeven EV or close to it?

Try to research out other things in this one. I just hope that you would be able to get things done for this kind of situation. Thanks for this one. Really appreciate a lot of things for this one.

OP:
If you trust them I can't see why not. If the OLP site is reputable, I can't see why not. Its poker, not you vs. the Casino, but there is a vigorish (rake).
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

A very large group of the people who were making a "living" playing online we actually break even players or even slight losers. They just played enough hands each month to generate a substantial rakeback. Every site is a little different but most of them pay back a portion (20-40%) of YOUR PORTION of the rake. If you are at a 9-handed table you generate 1/9 of the rake. You get a percentage of that.

Be warned that it is not as easy as it sounds to be a break even player. EVERYBODY thinks that they are at least a break even player. I don't know your situation but seeing as you are asking this question so late in the online poker game I am assuming you are not as experienced as you need to be to turn a decent profit with this. I mean no offense, I just want to warn you of what the reality is. I had similar thoughts a few years ago.

Yes I understand that they were break even or slightly losing in the games. I know how rakeback works. I also understand that breaking even in the games is not as easy as it sounds. That was not the point of the OP.

What I was going for would be something similar to Video Poker strategy. Percentage play and expected returns. Even if the return were less, it could be close to break even. Just don't know if this is mathematically possible. Its not of much use in live games or even for most online players. But could be very useful for a multi-tabling rakeback player. Where are all the math 'wizards'?
