Well, if that's the case, show me, don't tell me. I have nothing against you except how you continue to rail against me. I think it's great the progress you've made in your career over the last 8 years. Criticizing me for having a thin skin after some of the wicked things you've said about me doesn't work. You've said some very mean things. And that's just the truth. And I haven't forgotten just because you served time, unfortunately. I do not consider it a character flaw that I take criticism personally. My brother who was four years younger and who passed away some time ago was even more of a sensitive person than me. And I respect that rather than taking the macho "toughen up" attitude. I know plenty of guys I went to high school who are "tougher" than me, and that's fine for them. But that's just not me.

You should consider it a complement that I take what you say to heart, not just add it to a list of criticisms that I think about what you say and that it hurts my feelings.

No more personal attacks from me and hopefully you will treat casino employees as you would like to be treated. They have feelings too, even though they work for large multi billion dollar companies. Most are just trying to do there job, go home afterward and feed their family.

Alright guys, I uploaded them to you tube so they would be easier to view. Thanks for the feedback. The original files are higher quality than the representation of them on youtube though. Part of the accomplishment is also getting a very small file in MP4 format that is very high quality. But I guess you can just take my word for it that the quality level is really high for such a small video file if you have the right video codec on your computer to view them.

Works fine with Google Chrome.

I mentioned in another thread that Ahigh's division is an money pit to the company. I'd be surprised if it's around a year from now. The company has no cash and it can't help that all the money they gave Ahigh and whoever else works in that division and the product that came out of it was a pinball game for high limit casino players.

The 4k stuff in another division has great potential. I'd have been all over the stock if that was the whole company. This is the time of year that pinball machine would make a killing and give NTEK some cash they really need. 10 classic pinball games included with pack or individual games available for an additional cost. I'd be all over that. That should have been the original product. Might be too late now.

The machine they made would be perfect as a classic pinball emulator. Classic video game machines sell for a thousand or more. People love classic games their game rooms and garages.

If they would have releases it as a pinball emulator around this time for Christmas instead of a high limit slot for casinos they'd probably get a few hundred thousand in sales instead of the zero they probably have at this point.

Of course I can.

He made a HUGE deal about going to work for NTEK, and really talked it up, predicting great things.

Cautiously optimistic, I bought a block of stock, which proceeded to tank and now sits in the abyss, having lost SEVENTY PERCENT of its value in one year.

Wow, epic fail.

Is it his fault that it tanked?

Probably not.

Should I have had faith in his rah-rah optimism?

Probably not.

Life is a series of teaching moments; I went to the woodshed on this one.

You took the inside information from someone you are always going head to head with, and now you are crying over spilled milk. I wonder how many others on this site bought this stock, anybody out there that wants to tell us that you went out and bought this stock?

Did you really think that one man would change the way the stock was performaning?

I find it humorous someone bought stock from advice given on a gambling forum, from a gambler.

You'd be be better off scouring the betting systems thread for a betting system.

Ahigh does have talent and I can see somebody buying some stock as a flyer. But I thought that Ahigh's pinball ball feature would be some sort of big bonus screen, like on Wizard of Oz machine. With a choice of easy game, lower bumper values or higher bumper values but more skill needed.
What I saw at G2E was a small pinball machine you had to lean over to play ?

Great graphics I admit, but not exactly the best case. Sorta like a Rolex movement in a Timex watch with a cloth band.

A death knell at a convention is to display something too soon and give your customers a poor impression. In this instance it would depend on what you were selling: the Rolex movement, the Timex Watch or the cloth band. If you are selling the entire unit, you have to upgrade everything to Rolex quality and Rolex appeal.

A wise investor might be the passer by who sees the intrinsic value and jump at an opportunity.

You are free of course to like or dislike whomever you wish, employing whatever decision-making criteria you deem to be apt in that regard.

I do not "dislike" Ahigh, both as to the person (whom I have met at WoVCon) and as to the content of his posts on this board.

To his credit he is very intelligent, and seems relentless or doggedly determined in running down an idea or testing a theory.

His experiments on dice throwing were interesting, and showed he wasn't afraid to spend time and money on arcane gambling issues which he deemed important.

But he has had issues playing well with others, adopting a seemingly superior attitude at times and complaining frequently to the mods about perceived bullying and slights by others, which didn't set well with some board members, myself included.

Ahigh can be polarizing, no question about it.

From my brief skimming, he's the best dice player alive. He plays with an advantage. He secretly videotapes himself playing. He self-banned himself, then came back to re-self-ban himself since the punishment wasn't harsh enough...apparently he had a history of self-banning himself. There's an entire thread devoted to bashing him, that the mods are not inclined to over regulate. Y is he intelligent and not nuts? What'd I miss?

Where does one draw the line between "eccentric" and "mentally ill?"

There have been discussions here before about people's perceptions of a particular poster's mental health, but be warned that such speculation is a slippery slope that can, if pushed to far, lead to a suspension for insult.

FWIW, it seems to me that "intelligent" and "nuts" are two terms which are not mutually exclusive.

Nuts is kind of a broad term. Delusional, obsessive, addicted, braggadocios, confrontational, obtuse and many other things could all fall under that term, with someone having just one of those qualities or all of them. It's hard to pin down the term nuts as we all probably have a quality that would fall under that term compared to someone else.

I guess maybe the more of the qualities you have the more nuts you are??

Is a permanent self-ban the same as a nuke (nukes are reversible after-all, see the JJ precedent). In other words, anyone can insult him, can't they?

I don't think intelligence and nuts go together here, and I'm not so sure eccentric and mentally ill mean the same thing....that distinction is reserved for rich people. Since I read he works for a living, I'm gonna assume he's not rich, even if he makes good money. Doesn't the guy think he is beating craps, and is one of the best player around? Hmm, so many questions.

Not that you'll find answers to your queries, but perhaps a bit of insight into his thought process can be gleaned by examining the threads on his forum at his message board, goodshooter.com .

To his credit, Aaron has put his money where his mouth is, i.e. he has a craps table in his house, he spent a lot of money and time trying to see if dice setting really worked, and he set up and monitors a gambling related message board.

Also to his credit, he opened it up for all to see via streaming and youtube.
