62 Days till Vegas !!!!!!

So Im thinking of playing this way for my next trip to vegas. At a $5 table play pass line with 3-4-5x odds then play come bets with 3-4-5x odds until I have 4 numbers covered. Once 4 numbers are covered I just wait untill they hit, collect the money and not replace them untill seven rolls. (If I had the 6 and or 8, and it hits, I make place bet for $6 and wait untill the 7 rolls.

If Im forced to play at a $10 table (which is almost certain) this is what I plan to do. $10 pass line bet with 1.5-2-2.5x odds ($15 -$20-$25). Wait until next roll. If the next roll is a 4 or 10 I buy the number for $20. if it is 5 or 9 I place $25 on that number. If 6 or 8 I place $30. I do this until I have four numbers covered then as above just wait till the numbers hit untill seven rolls. (place $12 on 6 and or 8 after a hit). Basically Im making place/buy bets for the same amount that my come bets with odds would be at the $5 table. I know that I'm giving the house a better advantage with the place/buy bets, but Im thinking that since I won't loose $10 on rolls of craps and or more on a 7 at the come out if I have come bets in place, this makes up the difference. (maybe not mathmatically but financially)

This way, I can play at higher tables with the same bankroll. This would even work at $25 table If I dont place odds on the pass line bet and buy the 4, 10 for $25.

Right now, my only question is: are the 4 and 10 buy bets working on a come out roll??? If so I would declare them off until the new point is rolled.

Any thoughts / suggestions???

While there may be exceptions, at most casinos place and buy bets are off by default, and lay bets are working.

4 days for me!!!!

Where are you going to play where you are 'forced' to play at a $10 table, strip? Find a better place to play, like downtown, even if you're not staying there, you can get the deuce for $7(the bus that runs up and down the strip) and that pass is good for 24 hours(I think). You'd want more $$ on your odds bet than your front liner. I won't comment on your wagering scheme(system..ugh..;-)), since at least your betting on the best bets on the table.

Im staying at the Rio, but I was planning on playing at other places on the strip. Going downtown for a day is not a bad idea.

I like your style at the $5 level!

That's the way I play when I'm in Las Vegas.

The Deuce pass is good for 24 hours

I'd be Downtown to play at the $5 level. Maybe MSS or the GN.
I don't know everything but I know a lot.

Or $3 at El Cortez which offers 10x odds. I am a cheap ass gambler and I want my (small-ish) bankroll to last.

+1 to this. You are in no way "forced" to play at a $10 table. Wait a few hours for day shift (a lot of the Strip goes to $5 day), or go off-strip to find a multitude of $5 or less tables .

Remember, playing a $10 table as opposed to a $5 table doubles your expected loss. On every bet.

Rio will probably have at least one $5 table on any shift that isn't weekend swing. Good luck!

Nice hotel.

If you have a car, the whole city is opened. If not, take the free Rio shuttle to Bally's or Harrah's and walk to Casino Royale. Guranteed $5 table with 100X odds, $3 with 20X. I think Bill's also has a $5 game at their regular craps table. Or you may want to try out the Rapid Craps table at $3. Both are regular Strip 3,4,5X

The Deuce or whatever they renamed the Ace (Downtown Express?) gets you Downtown quickly. aside from El Cortez, there's 4 Queens at 5X odds and Main Street Station at 20X. Avoid the Fremont which limits you to 2X.

Oh, the Rio shuttle does NOT offer prefference to hotel guests, but it does to people with Diamond and 7 Stars player cards. The Platinum card is the same as te lowly Gold as far as the shuttle is concerned.
