Just a curiosity question. So often we hear seasoned gamblers and casino employees saying to the effect of "In the XX years I've been playing/working, I've seen everything."

In all your collective time playing/dealing craps, have you ever seen a craps table where multiple people, or even a majority or all of the players, are playing Don't Pass?

Yes--I have seen five or six people at one table, all playing the don't side...that was a clear majority.

I was playing the right side.

When I go I usually see just one DP player or none at all. If the table is ice cold you may see more but the casino I visit the tables are usually pass line happy.

Dealing craps. My side is all on the don't, several playing don't come. Other side is on the pass. Shooter is throwing dice towards my side. They land on 7, and immediately my entire side starts cheering, so I start paying all the don'ts and behinds. Dealer on other side, and his players, didn't hear the call, but heard the cheering, so figured the point was made (didn't know my side was on the don't).

Worst I had 5 players betting on don't pass, don't come, etc. Which isn't too bad if they are all always betting don't come.....but since the box behind is so small, it's hard to position their bets properly so you know which is whoms. On top of that, not every one always played don't come. So sometimes there's 5 bets behind a number, other times 2 bets or 4 bets. :(

Most of the time I play, there are none, one, or two DP players. But on 3 or 4 occasions, I have played at tables 100% dark, including me. I have gotten back to even a few times that way. $25 or $50 DP and $400 LAY 4 is my bold (tilted IDGAS) play. When the PSOs are flying it is quick money.

When I'm in town with my group we usually take over one half of the table and we are all on the don't while the other half is on the pass. On a few tables we changed the whole table to the don't and its a very interesting dynamic when that happens.

I've only seen it once. And when in Rome, do as the Romans. That's how I made like $30 bucks on a $10 bet. Probably took about 15-20mins? I always bet for myself when I shoot. I made the first point and lost the second. There was like one other person there that did the same. Everything else was PSO.

Note: The table was really bouncey; to the point that you could hear that it had no padding and it was like hitting barren wood. Unlike the other 3 tables in the area which had padding, and were crowded as well. We darksiders apparently stuck together and came out ahead. I asked the pit how the action was, and he pretty much said no one can make a point for their life right now. Good enough advice for me.

Many times. If new shooter gets the dice and players notice he is shooting from the dark side, the stick man announces it and most players bet with the shooter.

Which is hilarious, because all us don't bettors know all too well that when we shoot we can be (and often are) as hot as blazes. I've even been offered inducements to keep shooting.l

I had to take donations to keep shooting once as I had lost my buy-in shooting from the don't, and that buy-in was the last of my roll for the trip. It's pretty simple; either you put up my line bet or I will be forced to pass the dice...

That was the only Vegas trip (so far, knocks on wood) where I lost my trip bankroll.

I've found that most players are either oblivious, or continue betting the pass anyway and get even angrier after a PSO. You saw the "bad juju" and went right side anyway, shut up alerady!

I've been a part of it a couple of times. As a dark player, most of the time I have to win in silence. When we all can cheer for a "loss," it's a blast. Admittedly, not as fun as a hot shooter on the pass line, but I've won a lot more on cold tables than hot tables.

There was a night where the table was COLD for 10+ hours. Out of the 8 people playing 6 were on the don't and not a single number was placed. I watched a guy lose $11,000 in just a few hours. Then around midnight it turned around and I ended up several hundred up. That was by far the longest cold stretch I've ever seen and I've never seen a table with so many experienced players and not a single number placed.

I haven't been playing craps for long, but I've never seen more than two wrong bettors at a table at the same time.
