- $1 min bet, but pays out to the penny. Go ahead and place the 6 for $1. As far as I could check, all the payouts were standard. Field was 2x on both 2 and 12 though. Props payed 30-1 and 15-1. Commission was '5% on winning bets' but I was did not test what exactly this phrase means to the machine. [Anyone know the answer?]. You could buy/lay every number and also place and place to loose.
- 5 X Odds. This means the conservative don't better is only giving up 0.227% of each dollar bet on average. This probably explains the sign: "3 points for each $4 wagered". Normal slots are 3 for each $1, and Video poker is 1 for each $1 wagers. At GVR I think 1000 points is a dollar
- Cocktail service was very good, although i was not out to drink, if I was, i am sure i would have been pleased.
Anyway, while i was originally not going to play, I am definitely going to try this again!
Quote: DrEntropyAn experienced craps player (normally green chip level) sat down and put in $200, but even with his hosts help he found it too confusing and went over to the tables. So your experience probably depends on your comfort with computers.
The experienced player's problem probably had less to do with his computer comfort level and more to do with the needlessly confusing GUI (graphical user interface) on Shoot To Win. A lot of people who are uncomfortable with computers have no problems playing complex slot games.
Shoot To Win is a great game, but Azure really should to improve its GUI before it's too late (as should ShuffleMaster with Rapid Craps).
You mean a crappy idea?Quote: buzzpaffAm I the only one here that thinks Bubble craps is just plain a shitty idea ????
Yes you are, because you are the only one here...
There are many that just hate it. Their main gripe is there is no excitement as a real Craps table.
To each his own.
That is just great because that makes for more room at the machine for those that do like it.
No dealers or other players to mess up the game.
No late bets, hands where they should not be hitting the dice.
Drunks spitting and pissing on the layout, putting their crap all over the chips.
Very low limits...
Need more?
I'm off to play Bubble Craps
Way more enjoyable.
One just have to put up with the constant game calls from the Lady (the voice) in the machine.
Quote: NicksGamingStuffI only play craps on the mystery of fifty series machine because my betting level is too low to play on a real table.
It is actually called "History Of Fifty," which means that very basic statistics are given on the last 50 rolls. However, the "history" given is too sparse and not overly helpful for one who seeks patterns/trends.
In addition, the fact that most players misunderstand the name and meaning of this feature reinforces the idea that Azure really needs to revamp the machine's GUI to improve user comprehension.
Does it have some of the same problems as Rapid Craps?Quote: tuppShoot To Win is a great game, but Azure really should to improve its GUI before it's too late (as should ShuffleMaster with Rapid Craps).
Specifically, paying wins and taking the bet down. Or when you don't have a line bet up, pressing the inside, outside or across button and having it not place the point?
Yes.Quote: DJTeddyBearDoes it have some of the same problems as Rapid Craps?

Place bets do not come down after a win.
Only self service bets come down, even tho all bets are self service on the machine.
But STWCraps has NO across, inside, outside buttons for place bets.
You have to go from one screen to another. That really sucks with the 20 second countdown.
I emailed them twice on that one and they said they would forward my suggestion...probably to the trash.
I mentioned to them also that SM Rapid Craps had that ability.
They probably looked around and saw 1 world-wide install with Rapid Craps and again threw my suggestion in the trash.
Trash night for me.

Yes, I concur. In fact in this case he wanted to wager several place bets (i.e. 32 across) and there is no easy way to do this fast.
It takes practice because once you touch a number this screen pops up.Quote: DrEntropyYes, I concur. In fact in this case he wanted to wager several place bets (i.e. 32 across) and there is no easy way to do this fast.
To select another number one can or should use the small links on the ends of the CLOSE row
(5 and 8 in the photo)
instead of closing the screen and touching another number
And, No way to press a bet except by adding to it.
No way to take a $12 bet down to $6 unless you drag the total down and place a $5 and a $1 chip. This takes time..
or one can touch the chip, press cancel and place the new amount. Sometimes that does not work.
It is a touch screen.
It is a royal pain for place bettors.
The company could have easily done a better job with Shoot to Win Craps.
But, they are Asian owned and most Asians know very little about how the US plays Craps.
Maybe they ran out of $$$ in development and did not ask any real craps players or got their overall idea from the WoO site and game.
Quote: PokeraddictThese are all over Las Vegas. My wife calls it "Fuzzy Dice Craps" but it more reminds me of that Price is Right game where the player rolls a dice to win a car and guesses O/U the roll. Did the game give points? Red Rock no longer pays points on the machine but other Stations still pay the $4=1 point.
Where?
I know the Rivera has one, and at Gold Strike.
I love bubble craps. I like to sit down. I like to get paid odds on a $1 place bet, I like to be able to lay $2.
The interface does take some getting used to - but if it were easy, I wouldn't have anything to do in those 20 sec you wait for each roll. The way it is now, I have to frantically move my bets around to beat the buzzer - it makes the game move quicker.
GVR=Green Valley Ranch. It's off the 215 at Green Valley Parkway, near The District open-air shopping mall.Quote: slackyhackyWhere is GVR?
I've played it at a bunch of places. Santa Fe Station might be the best. Palms is a good place to play, too.

riveria has both the highest odds (5x) + highest table limit ($500). (but no rewards points.)
i dont know of any other 'shoot to win' casino w/both those.
