Atlantic City Rules: Dealer must draw to all totals of 16 or less, and stand on all totals of 17 to 21. Players may double down on any initial hand and split any initial pair. Doubling after a split is allowed but re-splitting is not. Only one card each allowed on split aces. Blackjacks pay 1 1/2 to 1 and insurance on a dealer Ace pays 2 to 1. . . . Atlantic City Rules are about as favorable to the player as you will find.

I played a Bally's AC a few weeks ago and dealers HIT soft 17 everywhere but the $100min tables.
Quote: aceofspadesI am writing this in anticipation to two upcoming trips I have to the new Revel in AC. Apparently a host there got my name from somewhere and has invited me down for next weekend and the grand opening Memorial Day weekend. Anyone been there and has any info on the blackjack games? Wizard?
I was there opening day. The high limit room is in the Ultra Lounge. There are only 4 tables, $25 min $1500 max, 6 deck, S17, no surrender and 70% pen. The main floor is H17 with the exception of pit 1 which is S17. The minimum is usually $10. Yes, S17 is almost extinct in the entire town.
It's a very nice property that I'm sure you will enjoy. Beyonce is doing three nights that weekend.

Except at Borgata, where all the tables are S17 (at least as of Dec 2011)
