Guys and girls, i am here in Vegas having a good time (although Baccarat killed me). Yesterday I went to play triple attack blackjack.

That game should be called combat blackjack because that name is appropriate.

I was arguing with players over its non traditional and aggressive hitting (they were bitching at me first for hitting certain hands). I was arguing with the pit over rules because the rules were a bit ambiguous. I was arguing with the dealers. Finally some supervisor from upstairs backed me off the game. Ill provide more details later. The dealers were so mean. But one guy dealer was really cool. There were two totally mean female dealers and it got worse when I called them out on it.

Ill detail the disputes and arguments later. I took pics of the game and certain hands to show my point.

For example we froze the game for 15 minutes to dispute the double for less rule. After winning the argument, i took a pic of what the hand looks like after doubling for less. Example, split aces, get a deuce, then double for less. Is doubling for less $5 or $1? they didn't know and insisted $5. One dealer insisted $15 because you had to double each attack level. All over the place.

And then the players!!! Omg. I was telling some players to shut up and stop complaining. Those who play Spanish 21 with basic strategy will know what im talking about.

Result of the day's combat? Up $300. The game is very countable but it is way way WAYYYYY too slow.

Before leaving, though, I asked the floor if he would comp me a buffet. Answer was no. Lol. And btw, new Harrahs charges for certain drinks. I took pics of the nonfree table games drink menu. Cheap bastards.

You sound like a real nightmare for the casino...
Keep up the good work!

I hate it when other players start their BS!
Most of them know so little about The Game.
Add to that some AP variation on strategy and they get hostile.

First off, if you really wanted a buffet, you probably shouldn't have been arguing with the pit supervisors or dealers, regardless of how right or wrong you might have been. From the tone of your post, I wouldn't sympathize at all with you about not getting a buffet.

Caesars/Harrah's is notorious for requiring you to use your reward credits, that accrue at a dismal rate, for any sort of purchases or comps. Anticipate this to get worse in the next year, as they roll out a "new and improved" Total Rewards, which means it will be worse than it is now. There are still some properties that write comps (mainly Horseshoe) but even those are fewer than they used to be. And the offers I've been getting for Vegas this year are pathetic, to say the least.

It doesn't surprise me that Harrah's is charging for some drinks. If I remember correctly, they were doing it last year at Harrah's Casino. Diamond players still got most drinks free, but they have a system where middle-shelf stuff is reserved for higher-tier cardholders.

I was half joking about the buffet. I didn't expect to get the buffet.

And these were important arguments. They were interpreting rules in ways unfavorable to players. And the dealers kept berating me for certain plays, so it fed the players anger. Like one hand where i hit a soft 19, the table erupted in anger and dealer was like,"what are doing to the table??!!". I then got an ace, making a soft 20. Then i doubled and won 6 units. The dealer gave me a little card for a stiff, but i had a six card cCharlie. The dealer pulled something like 19,20 or a 21 (i forget), as my small card and next card wouldve broken the dealer. This one player accused me if being selfish. That i was playing for myself and not for the table.

There are so many idiots paying Spanish and other variants, it's almost unbearable to play.
They have no inkling of the strategy and act like I'm part of a collective and should be regarding the welfare of the table.
Hey guess what? I'm there to make money for myself. If you want advice on how to do the same, I will give it.
This whole notion that players are taking other players cards really pisses me off.

Wong, very appropriate screen name. Bc when i wonged out and the table lost, they'd blame me for disrupting the flow of the cards. In this game, you Wong when ace count is low.

I would have been happy just sitting there quiet and counting. But everyone brought the fight to me. The moment i sat down, i got attitude from dealer. I asked for two stacks of $1 chips (so i could track aces), and dealer immediately turns to third base and said snidely, why u think he wants two stacks?

Good for you. I'm glad you won, too. That game is not long for this world, so win while you can. How goeth the 1000x odds challenge?
