I was at the Grand Victoria yesterday where they have a Royal Match side bet. I saw there was a similar side bet on WoO, but this one paid differently. It was a $1 bet and payouts were:

Suited Match 8:1 (two suited consecutive cards)
Royal Match 50:1 (KQ suited)
Player-Dealer Royal Match 17,000 progressive (dealer and player have KQ suited)

This seems like a very countable side bet since it would be easy to count the number of Ks and Qs left. I also know that the progressive got up to 30,000 last time.

I am wondering if this would ever be a profitable bet with a high count and at what point the progressive would give this +EV
