Table emptied because of the flow of the cards.
Does One Bad Blackjack Player Ruin the Table? - Blackjack Advisors - Feb 11, 2026

Does "the flow of the cards" actually exist in blackjack, or is it just table talk?
In this video, Colin Jones (Blackjack Hall of Fame) takes one of the most common casino beliefs and puts it to the test. We hit the Las Vegas Strip to hear what players really believe, then test four specific "flow" theories with large-scale blackjack simulations.
We test whether third base changes outcomes for everyone, whether players joining/leaving can ruin a shoe, whether dealer changes and burn cards alter results, and whether changing strategy after a losing streak can "reset" the table.
If you've ever heard "you took the dealer's bust card" or "the table is due," this one is for you.

Never mess with the Sacred Flow of The Cards. Nothing good will come of it.
A bad player can only affect the rest of the table if they let him. Does playing with a world-class player affect the other players' results??

The older I get, the better I recall things that never happened
