Hi guys, it's been a while since my last post here. I'm now in north Cali and wondering what are the best spots to play some BlackJack with decent EV?

You’ll have to physically explore your local casinos, googling helps but there is no accuracy with the public information currently floating about seeing as how casinos flip the rules constantly and blackjack standards to offer competitive games. I will say if your going to hunt for EV pay attention to deck penetration it’s so god damn important I got wiped because there was no emphasis on the subject with the public information I had obtained.

3/2 blackjack is usually a good indicator of a good game. 6/5 blackjack is terrible. You will notice that the casino sounds like an Army hospital. Almost everyone in agony crying.

What part of northern California? It's a large area...

Cache Creek (west of Sacramento, on CA 16) still advertises 3/2 and S17 on all of its games.

Yeah, Cache Creek's advertising is all about their player-friendly odds—I suspect because it's the most difficult casino in Northern California to visit. It's quite big, but it's in the middle of nowhere!

Whereas Jackson Rancheria, Thunder Valley, and that new Harrah's casino, are pretty much just off of I-80 or US-50?

Thunder Valley is relatively easy to visit from I-80. Jackson Rancheria is pretty close to the places we've gone camping.

I haven't been to the new Harrah's but have been getting mail from them every month.

Graton, in basically Santa Rosa, seems to have a bad reputation—their billboards show people winning big (in the thousands) but I'd say it's at the expense of other gamblers. In my casino log for 2014, I noted "6-5? JoB." I won $10 on $5 free play and quit. Didn't even bother with the blackjack.

Thanks all for the feedback! I'll definitely check out some of those places.
I'm in the Bay Area btw, if anybody is interested or wanna carpool to the casino! I work so much I won't have a lot of hours to play but I'd still like to practice and stay sharp AP-wise. So I'm not too worried about anonymity anymore.
3/2 seems so obviously required that I didn't even think I had to mention it, but thanks for the suggestions ;)

Beg to disagree! I have gathered all the info I needed to make money from Blackjack for free! Mostly thanks to the great camaraderie of this forum. If I had to list the free info:

To get started:
Basic strategy
House-edge calculator
Hi-Lo counting
Index plays
Bankroll management/Kelly betting
Penetration estimation
EV-calculation ( I'm gonna put this here: https://www.blackjacktheforum.com/resourcespage.php?do=bjtfcharts)

After some practice:
Heat estimation
Cover plays
Comp plays
Side bet counting
Some stuff I shouldn't mention, and I'm probably missing a few things.

Now that being said I have nothing against people selling information as well ;) scouting for info = hours = missed EV and costs.
