Can anyone tell me what the STD Dev would be for the following game rules?

4D
No Doubling
No Splitting
Ties Win Half
Full Early Surrender

Thanks in advance!

Looks like Ties Win Blackjack, where blackjacks pay even money.

In that case the SD would be slightly under 1, like 0.95.

Yes, that is the game. Sorry, should have mentioned the 1:1 BJ.

Wearing a condom usually covers it, but no guarantees.

I can't do a combinatorial analysis for a 4-deck game, but here are my infinite-deck results for Ties Win Blackjack with early surrender:
H17: house edge = 0.04%; standard deviation = 0.9080
S17: player edge = 0.12%; standard deviation = 0.9128

Every time I see the title of this thread. I have to do a mental doubletake just to start reading it again.

Glad I'm not the only one.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Should have mentioned that Blackjack Pays 21/20 and, it is H17.
I think that swings the H17 game positive into a player edge.
I don't imagine the STD dev changes much though.

Thank you!
