RECENT: Station Casinos changed all their tables.
- Rarely any $5 3:2 2x deck. Even if you go to Fiesta!
- More $10 6:5 2x deck.
- Checks play/green action calls for $50 bets even when playing at a $10 table. No more 1-10 spread on $10 table.
- Less kings bounty and lucky ladies side bets. +4 count. Boss gets suspicious.
- Higher ROR when playing $25/$15 tables.

When you do play on a favorable table, it's so busy, it's a total waste of your time. Only chance is to play at odd hours! HA!

El Cortez is so strict now. It's not worth your time.
SP and Silverton have poor penetration. Busy tables. Higher limits.
Play in Henderson at Jokers Wild or Club fortune and any green chip gets called.

RIP!

Not a whole lot of new information in the OP's post. Yes, some changes in some stations properties. Places like SP and Silverton have been unplayable for a long time. El Cortez, well they are El Cortez. They have had the "sweaty' label forever. But it is playable in short bursts, even frequent short bursts and I play green to black.

There are still many other 'playable' $5 and $10 games throughout the valley not mentioned here. My younger brother is just finishing up his first full year of low states play playing a rotation of $5 and $10 games in Vegas, and he's been fine and has done well. Actually experienced fewer backoffs that I expected and far fewer than I experienced this year.

I think it is all about how you play. You have to play short sessions now a days. Once or twice through your spread and you exit. The days of just camping out for hours, even at lower stakes are gone in Vegas. What you want to avoid is the pit people having to answer for your play.

I occasionally check the $5 3:2 at Silverton, but it is packed. When I do play there, dealers usually checks play anything over $30 if you start at $5.

I always short session. Its the only way here.

I loved Station Casinos bc the penetration was so predictable and better than other casinos bc the discard tray has a notch. I probably played with your bro at one point haha. M and Aliante have poor penetration too. dealer places cut at a little over 50%. +4 at most, with 1.5%HE....starts to become time consuming (venting). No pit boss will ever comp players like us bc they know exactly how we roll.

Yea. Playable tables are so busy now, I feel it's not worth the time! You do a 1-12 spread on a $5 playable busy table, and make $8/hr! Only playing you against dealer or dealer against 2 are the only way to go. BC of the SPEED! That has gone away bc of the change.

In hindsight, a few months ago, I do occasionally like to play $25 min. The only $25 table I play was Mirage bc it was 2x deck stand 17. I surveyed the table for a couple months and it's gone. I even check at off-ball times. $50 min 2x deck hit 17.

That's why you can't play favorable tables anymore unless you play El Cortez $25 min or go to any MGM prop and play $100 min.

This is the one major error in your analysis. For a low stakes player who plays short sessions, very few pit bosses know what you're doing. And the few who do, know that the green chips cost the casino almost nothing. Go during the slow times and learn to hustle comps and that $8 per hour can definitely become $20 per hour even against 55% penetration. The real downside is that even at $20 / hour, it still might only be $50 / week. But if that's what they're giving, I'll take it
