Just drew up this chart because I find it a lot easier to memorize this kind of stuff with visual aid but I wanted to make sure I didn't make any damaging mistakes before I memorize it.

- Chart assumes that player will wong out at TC -1

- Index column on the left hand side represents S17; right hand side is H17.
- Top row is 4-8 deck games
- Middle row is 2 decks
- Bottom row is 1 deck

- Red = Hit
- Blue = Stand
- Green = Double Down
- Yellow = Surrender
- Purple = Split
- Brown/Yellow = Split with no DAS

- Index number applies to all game variations below it until the next index number in the left hand column. For example: a) Hard 8 vs. 6 doubles at TC +1 and up for 2-8 decks S17/H17 but doubles at TC +2 and up for 1 deck S17/H17. b) 11 vs. A doubles at TC 0 for 4-8 deck S17/H17 and 1 or 2 deck S17 but always doubles for 1 and 2 deck H17. c) Pair 10's split at TC +5 for 4-8 deck S17/H17, 2 deck S17 and 1 deck S17/H17 but split at TC +4 for 2 deck H17.

- Pair 4's vs. dealer's 4, 5, and 6 shows that Splitting is only preferred to doubling if DAS is allowed.

Again, any mistakes that you guys can find would be greatly appreciated. Feel free copy the charts if you like.

That's nice and useful... good for practice. If you want a well done strategy card with almost the exact same features you can look on blackjackinfo.com, where they sell strategy cards with index plays. Also, since you were asking in the other thread, it's just personal preference, but instead of having to click the link you can post the URL's within an img tag to just show them as follows:

Playing it correctly means you've already won.
