Hi, is it good to play 2 hands at blackjack? I figure one hand can save the other and you end up even without losing anything. Any thoughts?

The difference is mostly meaningless. Spreads the risk, spreads the chance the HE will grind you down. Do what you enjoy more. If you want to "save a losing hand" consider BJ Switch.

In my experience with flat betting two hands... it makes the good times better, and the worse times worse. Not much change, really. I like double-handing myself though.

Now, if you're counting, that's a totally different story. Take a look at 'depth charging'.
