i had my personal max bets on two hands, running count was 16 and it ended up being the last hand- so about 1.5 decks max left- true count +10 basically. I got a 10 and 11, double both, end up with 20 and 17. dealer had a 6 by the way.

At least you didn't say the dealer was showing a break card. There's no such thing as far as I'm concerned. Anyone who has played long enough can fill a book with these stories. You are not alone.

I had one very similar experience recently only it ended up being seven max bets. After that loss, with one hand left in the shoe, I confidently put up two max bets. Boom! Two blackjacks looking at the dealer's 10 up. Care to guess the ending? Yup, they pushed. Done for the day.
