Showboat far nicer IMHO. Had a few conventions there in late 1990s. Back then it was a big thing if your company held one in a casino. Too bad I was intimidated by table games back then.

I gotta share this hand from a few days ago at the Borgata... i was banking and picked up the best PG tiles hand possible. Such a great feeling to pay the commission before you see any other hands. And yes, someone else at the table was betting against me!

I was reviewing some financial and tax documents in my room this morning. I decide to go downstairs and get some breakfast, leaving the paperwork on my bed, and there were some gaming chips on the table. I push the Do Not Disturb light and leave.
An hour later, I come back to find the room cleaned and my documents moved to the table. Everything is disturbed, including my toothbrush. I immediately go out into the hallway and get the nearest housekeeping staff.
"Excuse me, did you clean room 45XX?"
"Yeah. Oh you is checking out today, right?"
"Uh, no. Tomorrow."
Checks her list: "Says here you is supposed to check out today. You is gotta get yo bags out"
Now at this point I could go berserk, but I go downstairs to the lobby. I ask the staff if I am checking out tomorrow. He says yes. I ask why the hell is housekeeping not informed. He says oh sometimes there's a system delay/glitch, sorry sir. WTF.

Probably would still be there. The maids know about cameras and security time codes on their door keys. A one dollar chip is just as safe as a Purple. The usual back and forth and ended up plus 500
The real story was the guy at next table playing 10k a hand who won ten hands in a row then was up and down. I know it is all relative but 100k in 5 minutes sure sounds nice.
