I'm going to AC in the next day or two and I'm looking for the best Blackjack games. So far, I'm looking at the Borgata. I'm having a hard time getting specifics off their website, but have read other things indicating they have favorable variations. Any thoughts????

Only if I find out the best place to play. Hey, maybe that's where he is??? I'm also looking into the Revel and the Hilton. Impossible to get specifics off their websites and all the crap on the net is out of date.

Of course the Borgata. Where else would you want to go? Best chance to win and best atmosphere if you happen to lose. So why not just reward them for being the best in town by going there without even looking elsewhere. Cheaper room? Heck, go for the Borgata and be happy. Cheaper food? Go for the Borgata! If you win, you've won in a fine place. If you lose, you've lost in a fine place.

What do you want to do instead? Go to the Golden Nugget and introduce yourself to their heavy-handed Goon Squad? Wanna go shake hands with the career casino employees who just stood there dumfounded? Go to the Borgata where employees are paid well and have something on the ball!

That's what I wanted to hear. I did stay there last year. My GF took me for my Bday, and it's that time of year again and that's where she wants to stay. Thanks!

Zayla, I assume you're are asking where the best blackjack is. Revel and Borgatta both have S17 6 deck games at lower minimums with about 70% penetration.

Yes, you are correct. Though the casino's won't say on their own website's, I've been picking away enough info to figure out those are starting to look like the best places. You agree?

Yes I do. With a house edge of less than .5% they are the best in town and they are beatable. You should be able to find $10 to $15 minimums during the day and early evening. Good luck!

Going to the Borgata tomorrow morning. GF got me a room, dinner reservations, etc. She'll be there for the day, then she has to go home, and she gives me a small bankroll for the evening for the rest of my birthday present.

Even if I lose, I assure you it will be a good day/evening.

So what happened to Ace? At 1:30 he was heading back to
the tables, that was Sunday. Heard nothing since. Should
somebody pry him away from the tables? And he hasn't
logged into the forum since Sunday, thats kinda odd.

he's still sitting in Revel's backroom, where he was placed for winning too much money.

Maybe he's standing on the Atlantic shore, still casting away his regrets. Perhaps he feels he has much to atone for?

I thought I had posted a final update - alas, maybe the glory of the Giants' comeback win put me in a haze.

I ended up watching football all day Sunday and not playing at all. The trip ended at
+2606

this means I got back 7106 of the 7500 I had lost during the insanity of my Labor Day week(end)

Thank you for asking, Ace!

My weekend went well, though I didn't do any gambling. I suppose I did technically. I go to WV for cigs after work, when out, because they are much cheaper, I have a friend over there near the 7-11 I go to that night audits at a hotel, so we'll usually go half on two $2.00 scratch-offs, split the wins, when applicable. We hit for $17 on the one and broke even on the other for +$15. We know it's a bad bet, and we don't care about that sum of money at all, but we just have fun seeing how it goes.

How does it go lifetime?

Odds of 1:3.96 including Even Money pays, my butt! LOL

So that is good but when you are on the comeback trail ... don't watch football, just bet on it!

I've been watching the NFL for 45 years. I've always thought it was BY FAR the best sport to watch, the most exciting and most entertaining.

I'm never watching it again, it sucks, I hate it, it's stupid, it has no value and I'm switching to my 12 year old girls softball team, and betting on it, against them. That's a lock.

I am, a life long KC Chief fan. That explains everything I just wrote.

They suck, and that's an insult to everything that sucks. I can handle, as I have had to do for a number of years, them sucking because they had no talent, but as a team that is actually loaded with talent on both sides of the ball, to witness what I have in two weeks........THEY SUCK.

Until Sunday of course, when I'll be stuck to the television, hoping they somehow beat the Saints, knowing they won't. Thankfully, following that game they get two easy games......Ravens and Chargers. *sigh*
